Mayo's FBD fixtures are out... NUIG (home) Sligo IT (home) Roscommon (away).

I wish they would shake up the groups a biteen now and again.

Shrewdness

Holders Roscommon will have all 3 group games at home as follows....Jan 3 v Sligo It (in Strokestown), Jan 10 v Nuig (in Ballyforan) and Jan 17 v Mayo (in Ballinlough)... These games will give our new management ample opportunity to run the rule over new players especially.

It's awful nice of us not to drag ye to Kiltoom for an FBD League match like ye did with us and McHale last year.

Will Mayo be able to field a team?

Probably, but not one that ye cant beat up with ease like ye did last year.

D'oul FBD is gone seriously stale imo. Not sure rejigging the groups can revive it either.

I'm starting to get excited already :D
I see we also got the short straw in the Connacht Minor draw-
First Sligo, winners v Galway.
Meanwhile the Rbu rehab continues in Minor as in U 21- they get a Semi v Laythrum :-\ :-\
Davy's given us a dream to cling to
We're going to bring home the SAM

Sure lookit, we need all the rehab we can get. We re all over the place right now and others need to give us a bit of breathing space to get on an even keel again.

Shrewdness

Moysider, last year was more a ''roughing up'' rather than a ''beating up'' !!

True.

Might it have been a turning point for the panel and their management? This great side being played off the field at home by their lowly neighbours?

Most of the handbags happened after Mayo realised the game was gone from them and they got a bit sour about it.

I doubt it. I don t think there was any trigger or turning point. Just maybe that from the appointment process the whole gig was a bit toxic.

Just being facetious Moy.

Mayo get rid of a management the players don't want, we get rid of a management the players wanted and luck into a better one and Galway. Well who knows what the f**k is happening in Galway.
