For Zell am See it looks like we'd have to transit through the Uk - which hikes the prices (and the hassle factor) up, so maybe Annecy is the way to go.
There seems to be loads of apartments both within the old town and on the edge of it (albeit with no pool
access).
I'd been looking at La Ravoire & Les Fontaines sister campsites in Doussard but the prices in July are more than I'm looking to pay (twice the price of June for the same mobile) as trying to do this on a budget.
