Too early for a Salah/Suarez conversation?

Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think Salah gets the love the likes of Torres and Suárez got. He has proven this season there should be a conversation because he stats blow there's out of the water.

Agree on Robbo thought, having a great season for what? 7 odd million!

Robertson a rare case these days that you can buy a player for a modest sum and give him a chance & coach him up without having to spend £20-30m. Refreshing

Leicester put an entire squad of these rare cases together and won the league. I don't think its a rare case though its a manager doing his job. If clubs feel obliged to spunk £30m+ on every position then more fool them, the players are out there if the homework is done. If Liverpool had been alert enough they could have had VVD from Celtic for £10/12m but the PL big boys are too up their own arse to buy players from Scotland. Nzonzi was the best player on the pitch during the Sevilla Utd game and he left Stoke without as much as a whimper from the top 6. Robertson and Salah/VVD are two ends of the pricing spectrum for Liverpool but they've all worked out, the trick is to keep that up, the top 6 are guilty of wasting billions on "talent" but Klopp seems to have a good eye for it and awareness of the need to pick up a few rough diamonds along the way. Of say he'll be kicking himself he didnt take Maguire from the Hull firesale too

Interesting to see behind the scenes.

Melwood is some set up.

Report on Liverpool's loanees

https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/clock-ticking-origi-markovic-still-14437869

Wilson and Grujic look to be the two who look like they could push into the first team squad next year. Hard to see many of the others making an impact with the possible exception of Kent/Chilverra.

Has there been a bigger disappointment that Markovic in recent years??

Kevin De Bruyne will win the PFA player of the year however Mo Salah has to be a close second.

Salah has been clearly the best player, every goal from open play (I think)

Second best goal difference now !!

Nearly.....Penalty against Huddersfield!

I'm  pretty sure that in Suarez's epic season in 2013/14 he had no penalties and missed a few games at the start of the season due to his ban. 31 goals in 33 league games is some return but Gerrard scored ten penalties that season.

Nasty knock for Skrtel on international duty.

Hopefully the Gomez injury is not too serious but at least Clyne is back, think he played for the u23s a couple of times.
