Sorry, AZ, there were two baseball threads open.  And now an even more obtuse question: where and how does the draft take place?  Is there a draft launcher on the website, once the draft date has been determined?  What is the draft order?

where and how does the draft take place?

The draft will take place at a time nominated by me, after asking people's opinion. It looks from the vote as if this will be Fri afternoon. It takes place via a java applet which you can launch from the league homepage when the draft is about to start, but you can test it before then. If you take part in the live draft, you will pick one player from the remaining players each time your turn comes around. If you do not/cannot take part, Yahoo will pick for you, based on your PRe-Draft player rankings. (See site)

A hyperlink will be on the league home page and when you click on that, the applet will launch. I would recommend testing your system first though. There's an option to do that on the home page as well.

What is the draft order?

That is determined approx 30 minutes before the draft. The only guarantee is that AZ Diamondbacks will have the last pick. 

We have. We have 18. I'm just trying to finalise the draft date/time now, because we had a rash of lads joining which kept giving us odd numbers and invalidating the draft.

Gone to extra innings now. Good start to the new season Brandon Moss homered in the 9th to make it 4-4, and the Sox have just taken a 6-4 lead in the 10th with another Manny Ramirez double, and 2RBI with 2 out.

I agree totally, especially about Liverpool. I do think Arsenal went into their shell a little after they scored, they seemed to hand the initiative to Chelsea, but Grant's substitutions, Sagna's injury and Chelsea's greater physical strength had a lot to do with it as well.

4-3 to the A's now, in the top of the 8th with 2 outs. Boston went 3-2 up in the top of the 6th with a Manny Ramirez 2 RBI double and then came home himself. The A's bounced straight back with a two run homer from Jack Hannahan.

Liverpool were wicked. Where did anyone say otherwise? I certainly didn't, and I don't have the stomach to even get into it yet. Suffice to say that it could have been 5 at least.

I think so too J70, but I'm sure we've all read the 'This is our year' stuff. Dinny just uses it as a brickbat to take away from his beloved Gooners collapsing every so often

I think delusionist refers to the fact that some Liverpool fans say this is our year, every year. I think their numbers are dwindlng as experience crushes optimism like a rose petal in a vice.

In the Queen's money? Holy bejaysus. I got both my tickets last year for that.

I suppose there's a lot to be said for being sorted out this soon, but I'll still take my chances in May. In fact I'll probably head over without tickets even.

By the way, I put down for 4. If anyone else gets accepted, and I don't, can I put my name in now for any tickets you won't use?

As for hotels, I stayed in the Imperial in Russell Square last year, it's grand and handy for town, and it wasn't much hasssle getting out to Wembley at all.

Yes, CLub Wembley tickets are treated differently. They are being released at the moment, so that's why you got the email Deel.

I f*cking hope so. Maybe Club Wembley tickets are sold seperately? I registered and haven't received any correspondence, but wasn't expecting to until May, as the lads said.
