Any system that gives more than one chance benefits the stronger team.

The League has been an inconvenience for Mayo the last couple of seasons!
Its a while since i seen Mayo players celebrate as much after a game than last Sunday and they only drew!. The league is more interesting because its the best format the GAA have while the championship is a cup competition and has become less interesting because its has become less and less of a knock out competition and the story of the underdogs that makes any cup competition great is getting killed off.

Yeah you're right.

I'm beginning to think a premier league type c'ship would be better. Whoever finishes top, wins Sam. The c'ship isn't knockout anyway, and it's become a convoluted pile of nonsense.

Problem then is when Dublin win with a quarter of the season left the attendances will fall away to nothing.
