Lots of twists and turns left in the league this year.. watching it with so many Liverpool ones last night in the pub was interesting! Only One mad City supporter jumping about!

Watching a game hoping both are bate is pointless!

Jesus I thought it was the opposite a thrilling game between two top teams giving it everything thoroughly enjoyable and 3 great goals to boot.

Makes it interesting from now on looking forward to the run in.

It was enjoyable but hardly thrilling! Was a bit like two boxers dancing around the centre of the ring landing the odd good punch.

yeah , like supporting a team and spending most of your time and energy abusing another club. You're definitely the man to be making that call

;D

Don't go on the Grand Old Team forum..... your head would explode with the Toffees turning on Pickford, Keane Mina, Silva, Coleman,  Walcott and just about every player that they have!

Why a team that's not going to get relegated or win the league puts out a weakened team I'll never know.

The higher you finish in the PL earns you more money than a FA cup run. Simples

When you've 25 highly paid players on the books, the FA Cup presents an opportunity to give them all some game time. The chances of coming up against a full strength, fully committed XI in the early rounds is minimal to none, so it's a low risk play.

In a modern game determined by money. The League Cup and to a lesser extent FA Cup offer noting to clubs but silverware - Sad but true. Winning Domestic Silverware has been destroyed by the Premier League and The Champions League. A Club like Bournemouth depend predominately on Premiership TV revenue. In Bournemouths case home crowds only pay for the grounds staff and floodlights. To dedicate any interest in competitions that have prize money of £600,000 and £2 million is madness when one thinks of what could be lost forever if your club get relegated from the Premier League.
