Only one married man on the Oughterard team lol.

That must be the secret to winning an All Ireland!

GaillimhIarthair

Fair play to Oughterard - massive achievement for the club.

Na Gaeil too much of step up for the Wexford and Leinster champions. 3-20 1-5. A 5th Junior AI title in 6 years for a Kerry club.

Yeah, what is really the Kerry Intermediate 'B' Champions have done well in the Junior All Ireland Club championship.

Having only 8 Senior teams means that they have 8 senior teams in the intermediate grade and 8 Intermediate teams in the Junior grade.

Wexford have 12 teams in Senior Championship and 12 in their Intermediate Championship. (They actually have 2 Intermediate Championships an actual Intermediate championship and an Intermediate A, which is really the Junior championship)
Kerry have 8 teams in their Senior Championship and 16 in their Intermediate Championship.
The 25th best team in Kerry beat the 25th best team in Wexford today.

Well in that case credit must be given for them winning against their equals in the Kerry championship and the AI Final. No credit can really be given for any of their other victories!

Well done to Na Gaeil. Impressive from Kerry newest club. Delighted for Jack Barry and Diarmuid O'Connor  too great role models

GalwayBayBoy

Shouldn't be forgotten that it took Oughterard 3 games and 2 last gasp equalising frees from Matthew Tierney to draw those first two games to barely shake off Michael Breathnach's in the county final. Testament to the strength of Galway club football even though people often do nothing but complain about it within Galway. Maybe not as bad as they think.

Is camogie rules similar to hurling?

Just seen the goal that beat Slaughtneil camogs. Opposing player ran with the ball on the stick, and caught the ball twice, before passing for the goal.

Is that not a foul?

Nanderson

Official rule says it is a technical foul if you 'catch the sliotar more than twice' so i would assume that means they can catch it 3 times. Still i believe she massively overcarried it anyway before the 2nd tap of the hurl

Well yeah, that too.

Sickening way to lose.

Noticed that loads of bars and more or less all the Clubs haven't even opened today with the Club Finals not taking place on their traditional date.

I'd say there is another reason for that. Check the news..
