Ironically, that was a much better United performance than the Brentford game.

Having conceded the penalty, United just froze. Chelsea had a 4/5 on one for the move that led to the corner before Sterling and Jackson managed to f**k it up. Palmer had been sitting in that spot for corners all night and they were miles off him. Just let him have a crack. Awful.

Utd deserved everything they got

That penalty was coming and the winner was pathetic to leave Chelsea's best player alone.

God help them on Sunday

The funny thing is , I wouldn't be surprised if United  got a result on  Sunday even  with a patched up team.  That's just the way they roll these days. Jekyll and Hyde

I must be  mad but I'm going to say  a 2-1 win

In a cup match I'd agree but with Liverpool chasing for the title one would expect a focused display by them to beat a disjointed United with nothing to play for in the league.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

I agree they will raise their game for Liverpool like they did in the Cup. Wouldn't be surprised to see them hold them or even win.
NEUTRAL

Big Rio
That would be ideal, get him off the TV.

He was brefless last night, ffs, pain in the hole.

All the same Utd did well to pull themselves back from 2-0 down, took the lead with a fantastic goal, ETH was the greatest thing since sliced bread and then the wheels came off in injury time...

In fairness to Dalot, yeah he let yerman get the wrong side of him, but he slipped, pure accident but penalty all the same.

But the last goal, get ta fĂșck out and block the thing at source.

ETH out out out.

Webby and O'Neill will be good craic.
That's just, like your opinion man.

School boy stuff! I hate (in any sport) people pointing to others to pick up a man!! fecking get out and do it yourself! Responsibility lies with the nearest person. But if you see it, get out and do it yourself! Palmer for every corner had been hanging around the edge of the box, its not like they didn't know.

Anyways, thats the league done now for Utd, its a three horse race now  ;D

You're letting him off the hook here. Pretty sure they gave the penalty in the end for Dalot clipping him with his right foot and this is what sent Madueke down. He got absolutely burnt for it. Dalot's tumble was subsequent to that and there was minimal further contact. Think that's what VAR was looking so closely at.

They were looking to see if Madueke clipped Dalot, not the other way round, and caused him to slip. It's unfortunate and a clear penalty but no need for VAR on that.
