Roscommon to spend the summer practicing hooking and pulling on the ground? This car crash should be entertaining at least. Absolutely bizarre stuff

You do realize the rumored manager has won Connacht and Leinster football titles?
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

You do realize the rumored manager has won Connacht and Leinster football titles?

He presided over one of the most disastrous man management regimes of a top IC side in living memory. Shambolic tactics, training regimes and established players dropped off panels without a solitary phone call explanation. On 3 separate occasions a very level headed group of players voted to oust him, with them backing out of the first two attempts due to a mix of being scared of the media backlash and delaying a few months until an autumn settled period. His final season was the ultimate in senior player power and will dragging a disastrous situation through a summer.

His football knowledge is supposedly limited, with his role in Laois very much advisory, with training based on fitness. Where's the upside here? Tactical? Motivational? Is he supposed to be the man to bring the county together? He's been overlooked for the Dublin hurling job he much sought after. And he's going to land a D1 job in a sport he knows a fraction as much about?

He still led Galway to a couple of All Ireland finals leaving them in a good place to then win the All Ireland once he left and for that supposedly limed football knowledge he still managed teams to provincial title success.

Ok, lets look at your take on it. Twice AI runner up recently. Understudy in a promising season last year for Dublin. So he surely was an excellent candidate for Dublin, a job he coveted.

Yet they plumped for Mattie Kenny over him. The same Kenny the Dublin CB were so enamored with last year that they overlooked him for a football man in Gilroy. Why wouldn't Dublin take AC on?

And now he's in line to take a team in a better position in a sport hes more tactically inept at (although can't say this for certain as his hurling astuteness left a bit to be desired).

I can never look at a post of yours again without thinking of "Football is far worse affected by a bare pitch than hurling".

Surely one of the most idiotic things ever posted on a GAA forum
