Will this mean that all teams will be getting new jerseys next year?

I wouldnt be too happy if mayo had got a new jersey last year and only use it for the one year before then change it.

Whats the story with them, jesus they wreck my head, like even the way they dress with the tracksuits tucked into their socks wearing white runners- how do they think thats stylish!!
If i ever have children id have serious doughts about raising them in a city...just in case, probably disown them or something if they did turn into a townie

And im getting a deep hatred for liverpool because every second one of them are wearing a liverpool tracksuit or jersey-well in galway anyway!

Would have liked to see trevor at half back and am disappointed that O'Neill is droped....jesus get Padden off the team-i dont rate him at least O'Neill would offer us some bit of extra class up in the forwards!!

Also not too sure about Moran at full forward,think he'd be better in one of the corners.

In south mayo gaelic is number one...soccer or any other sport cant come close.

I find unless soccer is played at the highest level its complete muck to watch, the premiership and i dont care what anyone thinks completely over hyped cant remember the last game i found exciting.

I have just found out that i have one friday week and to be honest havnt  clue what to expect....anybody here been in the situation of having to do an interview for a masters?
Like whats the dress code?
If you get called is it a good or a bad sign?
Are you facing a stiff interview, does it matter a whole lot on getting accepted?
Its in an area (finance) not at all related to my degree coarse so some serious bullshit will have to be done

Cant see mayo winning this, purely because its on in salthill....have a feeling it will be very similar to the game two years ago at the same venue.

Mayo have to give up on the short passing out of defence, its suicidal, the ball should be get in to the forwards accurate low and fast.
We do have after all have a very quick bunch of forwards akin to the way mayo played against galway, ross and tyrone back in 2004 .

What about the bomber Liston with the whole big hair and beard combo and Gratham Gerathathy  and Brendan Ger O'Sullivan have had plenty of different things goin on through the years!

Sure I only support Galway through an accident of birth. If I was born further to the north I'd probably be a Mayo fan.

Sure by your logic, cork must be close to your heart, see them on telly a lot and they wear red, plus seeing that they ar in the same country you would have more in common with them  than liverpool!!

The reason you support Galway is because you are from there - they represent you and your place like galway united in soccer....liverpool doesnt!

Nicely put GBB. I'm in the same boat as yourself. Started supporting United in the 90s and so what if they were successful. I've no ties with the city of Manchester or any other city in England either that has a soccer team. And if you knew me, you wouldn't say I'm a poor GAA supporter either cos I've been at as much games as I can go to.

No-one is saying that anybody is any less of an Gaa fan just because they support an English soccer team.
It just iv found it increasingly strange as i went through my teens.
Like if it just say that someone like old-ham were the best team around then, you would have supported them....most people are glory hunters following teams like liverpool or united and whether they like it or not have bought into a product like sky who are only delighted that irish fans have such a keen obsession on the premiership.


But it this way, i am interested in the premiership but find it difficult to get passionate about a team that has nothing in common with me, that i have no links to!!

Im a fan of soccer myself but find it very hard to understand how people in this country are so obsessed with the premiership and english soccer teams in general!

Like ill walk into a pub on any given saturday and see loads of people sitting wearing man united and liverpool jerseys wathing a match. Im a big fan of soccer myself and bought into the hype in my earlier years and later realised that supporting spurs compared nothing to supporting mayo or ireland, because i had nothing in common with the club and i wasnt from north-east london.
So after a few years of caring less and less if they won or not kinda gaves up supporting them.

Some people go on about supporting teams like liverpool and man u for their history but i honestly dont believe that-not for one second wpould they support them if they wernt successfull. I mean Not Forest have a good history but you wont see many of their fans in this country.

I find myself having more and more of an interest in the eircom league now. Ok it isnt near the standard of the premiership but you dont see other nationalities on a massive scale supporting a team outside their country, in fact they find  it hard to understand.

Just wondering what the plans and time-frames are for semple stadium, pairc ui chaoimh, clones and any other counties that are planning redevelopments.

Heard that kildare are getting a brand new stadium as well - would be really good if say 3/4 of the sides in the all the stadiums would be covered.

Like look at the gaelic grounds in limerick, i mean really nice stadium but on a day when its pissin rain most of the people there are getting soaked and lets face it in this country its very likely!!
