AZ, have just seen on Amazon video that they teamed up with the NFL to produce a warts and all insider documentary that followed the entire Cardinals season last year. Thought you might be interested.

Yeah its supposed to be excellent. A lot of Bruce Arians in it.

Jj watts potentially missing the start of the season with a herniated disc.  Big blow to the Texans who will be looking to make a real impact this year after spending big on Brock.

Denny Green, the ex NFL coach, ex Cardinals Coach "They are who we thought they were!!!!!" has died of a heart attack, aged 67. He also coached the Vikings.

He had a tough time in recent years I'd say. His son was an ESPN employee and he got arrested for child pornography charges.

We're off and running! After the embarrassing cancellation of the Hall of Fame Game, there were a few pre-season week 1 games last night in the NFL. Good to see it back.

Anyone else heading to Dublin for the College Game on the 3rd of September? I'm heading up on Friday morning to get the High School games in Donnybrook.

Tim Duncan retires - legend

Absolutely. One of the very best. At the same time, you wouldn't even notice him. He's everything basketball traditionally hasn't been - quiet, humble, respectful.

And no big announcement, or press conference to announce it. Just a statement on the Spurs website

A true gentleman and one of favourite American sportsmen.

A top ten of all time and sure fire first ballot hall of gamer, I wish there were more like Tim Duncan in this world.

Patrick Murray, son of a Monaghan GAA man, is now the field goal kicker for the Browns.  Something to look forward to.

Incredible show of bravery by Kaepernick sitting out the US anthem and the grandstanding rhetoric that infects US discourse at almost all levels. The most impressive display of character and selflessness I've seen in my time watching the NFL. I take back not liking Kaepernick - I hope he starts this year and rams this down the establishment's throat by having a career year.

His fellow football players are showing themselves up big time by placing themselves on the wrong side of history for personal gain. Like others Kaepernick's stand will be talked about glowingly when time has had its' say. Many of the same people who celebrated Ali a few months ago for being a social campaigner are severely uncomfortable with Kaepernick doing the same and it highlights the incredible hypocrisy still at the heart of the American psyche.

vertigonights

Yeah incredible..........., just get on with the game I reckon.

Serious looking injury for Teddy Bridgewater

Lump everything on the Packers to win the NFC North right now before the betting lines change further

I feel bad for Teddy as he is an upcoming QB star in the league and the team was drafting key players around him.

Here comes stew talking about the Vik-queens :)

Packers were going to walk the NFC North regardless of Teddy. Probably the NFC too.

No doubt about the NFC North, but the lines have gone from 8/13 down to 4/11.
The Vikings with Teddy had a decent shot, now not even close.
