Regarding boycott, Israel are a participant not a direct opponent. They are also participants in Olympics, Euros, club competitions that league of Ireland clubs participate in, that clubs supported by Irish people (Celtic, Liverpool, Man United, etc) participate in.

Why are we only hearing the loudest voices against the Eurovision. How about a bit of pressure on our boxers, golfers, soccer players, runners, rowers...

We know we won't of course.

Do we only put pressure on the transgender queer who at least is very vocal in their support of Palestine. Loved the use of Ogham even if the organisers somehow turned out to be experts in ancient Irish script. Crown the Witch.

You have got me thinking with that one. Very good point, will the Olympians etc get the same abuse going to a competition where Israel are completing?
I kinda like her act. People going on bout Satanism need to feel their superstitious 1930s Irish heads! It's a bitta craic, young ones dressing up ffs!

It's a song that has grown on me. They are clearly very talented and it's nice to have something different. So I'm jumping on the bandwagon. Crown the Witch! 

Calling her "they" is getting very dull. She is obviously very talented and doesn't need any artificial promotion.

They or it for Non-binary?   Bambie doesn't use a gender to describe oneself.

We send a freakshow to a competition that we should be boycotting anyway.

Freakshow?  does that mean drunken louts (allegedly) from Lurgan would not be regarded as a freak show in Armagh. How about a Catholic mass? is that normality or a freak show?
Bambie Thug is an artist, the elegant performance in the semi final was choreography perfected.
I haven't a notion about non-binary, BT's progress to the finals has brought much needed attention to this 'predicament'.

Give me a Catholic Mass over that Satanic Freakshow any day of the week and I haven't been to mass in ages.

You don't go to mass, then don't watch the effin Eurovision you'll only take offense  but perhaps that turns your bigotry on?

I personally think that Donegal will be 4-5 point winners.
Donegal didn't get the credit they deserved for walloping Derry and were narrowly beaten in an Ulster final 2 years ago.
They've already beaten Armagh in a final this year, however, were didn't perform at the same level against tyrone as they did against Derry. Some of their attacking play against Tyrone was poor enough.
They have, in my opinion, a better manager and overall better players than Armagh.

Armagh have struggled to beat a limited Down team and were not that impressive against Fermanagh.
Ok, they are perhaps trying to peak for the final so may improve.
But they've done nothing in recent years to show they have the nerve to win a big game - I think they are just short a few players and need to focus on the football and not the physical antics they often get themselves involved in. If they focus on playing their own game and I think they'll do better than trying to out-tactic Donegal.

Of course I could be entirely wrong, just my read on it.

Hard to argue with most of that.  Time to finally step up for a few of our players and leave everything on the pitch.  I'm not overly hopeful though. I'd expect McGuinness will be better tactically and will have a plan to keep our best players quiet. Obviously hope to be very wrong...

Linesman shouldn't have flagged but Madrid players had stopped playing before the ball ended up in the net so who knows how it would have panned out.

The linesman flag carries no weight, players should only play until they hear the ref's whistle.
In any VAR the linesman's flag would be ignored.

Yeah you're right Madrid players did play to the whistle. Whistle went, they stopped playing and De Ligt finished it. I just think it's not the big injustice it's being made out to be.
