The absolute irony of Poots claiming that it was a joke from the 1980's when he is the quintessential 17th century man. Doug Beattie has used Social Media to his great advantage so far but his judgement was really poor here. Anybody with a modicum of intelligence could have predicted there would be an element of faux outrage following that tweet. It was a brutal joke as well.
