Lots of opportunities around gaa for him back to sky sports ,writing columns, podcasts and I'm sure even a well heeled club team would pay well for his services while he waits to get back into inter county management.  The gaa could definitely use him to promote football in weaker counties and coming up with some strategies to do so.

Just before throw in ,whatever happens I hope they leave it all on the field and play to the best of their ability

Driving around listening to 2fm and they have a woman on talking about sex parties and orgies and how great they are and how everyone should be indulging , am I getting too prudish or is this a bit Ott for 11am on a Monday . Is 2fm a private run station?

Dublin beat Galway and Carlow drew with Wexford and could have beaten Kilkenny they have a feeling they can shock Tipperary in the quarter final, they will be looking past Laois but can Laois produce a performance of a lifetime to beat them I doubt hit but you have to relish the opportunity.

Whatever happens Laois will have to up the scoring to win 12 points won't do here , 2 evenly enough matched teams home advantage might swing it for Derry
TBF it will if Derry score 11.
12 would have got us to extra time nice win and a nice double header for next weekend
Well done to all involved a character building win

Don't live in Ireland anymore but might make final as I'm in country , the last time I saw Laois play championship hurling was in the mid 80s and I think it was s double header in Carlow and not sure who they played but I do remember paddy prendergast of Kilkenny being airlifted out of there after a bad injury.

This and Sean O'Brien's antics mean they probably think it's not worth their while.
ironic seeing  both incidents were fueled by copious amounts of alcohol

Trying to watch a game in a pub in peace, and someone who will literally not shut the f**k up about every little thing that happens
ha and probably wouldn't know if the ball was blown up or stuffed

Anyone watching Stanley cup game 7 ? Exciting stuff

St Louis Blues are the oldest NHL team without a Stanley cup win. Up 2-0 at the moment.

Blues win game 7 on a 4-1 scoreline.  Hard to believe they were dead last on 3 January...some run since then.
players must be shattered playoffs started early April they are some tough men

KD getting rushed back for tonight, surely no way back for the warriors regardless of his impact?
durant is probably leaving anyway so warriors not too worried about an extended injury
They need to get something from him and try extend the series.

GAA Discussion / Re: Meath vs Laois, 9th June
June 07, 2019, 05:27:25 PM
Not sure how this will go Laois are lacking pace and give up a lot of goal chances they are too reliant on o Carroll and Kingston for scores , I know very little about Meath but if I was them I'd get my Pacey  players on the ball as much as possible .
If Laois are to win it will be something like 0-16 to 1-11 if Meath score 2 goals I don't think Laois can score enough to win
