The Paisley Years on  bbc

Man, but he  was an evil, bigoted f**ker. Unbelievable the power  he had and  the   hatred he stoked up among  the unionist community against Catholics .  And the headcases  who hung on his  every word.

Nearly 10 years late to the party but True Detective Season 1was one of the best series I have watched in along time Harrelson and McConaughey  were outstanding in it (doubt the Louisiana tourism board would have enjoyed it as much through)

It finished brilliant. If I remember right, first 5 or 6 episodes were slow enough though. The jumping back and forward through the years added alot to it too.
Yep it was a slow burn for the first  few episodes but so worth it ,  also had one of the most unnerving/creepy antagonist's in any series/film I have seen

Flip me how have I never heard about this? One episode to go on the first season...excellent show

The first series was excellent. Definitely up there. One episode Woody Harrelson was the luckiest man on the planet lol. The rest of the series were absolute rubbish considering the stars  and budget.

First season was some of the best tv there's ever been.  Two fantastic actors at the peak of their powers.  Second season I gave up on; it was just terrible.
Third season I also really liked.  Although it wasn't up to the standard of season 1, it was still really good.

Jeepers Creepers

I take that back. Series 3 was decent. Just the 2nd one had so much hype but was very disappointing.

1 episode down of season 2 and fell asleep!

The latest episode was shocking despite Jack Black and Christopher Lloyd featuring in it.

Revenge of the Sith was actually one of the better movies, maybe you are thinking of The Last Jedi (2017)? Now that was pure rubbish.

Last Jedi is an infinitely superior movie to Revenge of the Sith.

Revenge of the Sith is the best of the three prequels by a considerable distance but that's not really saying much.

Last jedi was the best of the new trilogy, it just needed to lose the whole casino section with Finn and the annoying girl

Blue Lights episode 4 is one of the best episodes of TV I've seen in years. If it was from an American show, say The Wire or similar it would be lauded by critics. I hope the show gets the recognition it deserves.

I enjoyed Blue Lights also. Only 6 episodes though, so it was over in a flash.

Last Jedi is ok as a standalone but ruined the storyline by killing off Snoke so easily, only heightened in the last film by making him a clone and bringing back Palpatine.

Mandalorian is good tv. Latest episode wasn't to my liking but can see why it would appeal to some. Overall though i'd be a fan.

Andor was very good.

Obi-Wan was ok, not bad but not great.

I think they've done a pretty good job overall with the TV stuff for the amount of criticism they get.

I think with the tv shows, things can get fleshed out a bit more  Multiple plots can run over the course of a few years and they can react to audience reaction a lot easier.

I would dare say if the prequels were being made today, tv would do them more justice than the 3 3hour films they made.  (as a kid i loved revenge of the sith, and thought it was superior to the most recent 3 films, which were very disjointed imo, but lets not go down that rabbit hole).
I tend to think of myself as a one man wolfpack...

Wasn't overly enthused by it so didn't start it until a few nights ago and enjoyed it far more than I thought I would.

I quite like it too. Have only watched the first few episodes but seems very centred on republican areas so far! Tbh it is worrying that some of the stuff in it is probably not that far from the truth.

Saw the trailer for Blue Lights and it looked crap. But boredom brought me to it during the week and I loved it.
