Watching Vikings on Prime, enjoying it so far on season two, wife hates it, which makes watching it easier

First few seasons were brilliant.
It got a bit too long drawn out towards the end as a lot of these shows do.

Agree with that, but I think it got good again in Season 5.
Well, without giving away any spoilers, there is part of the story (maybe 10-20%) which is in Iceland - and that's absolute garbage, but the rest is really good.
I'll be starting the final Season 6 shortly.

Totally 100% right.
I'm guessing it was plugged in as there was some real historical significance.
The final season is a bit meh too. But all in, well worth a watch and much better than The Last Kingdom.

Up to season 4 in Vikings on Prime, but are there two season 4's?

Might be a stupid question.

Brian Cox new series Universe

Depends on a few things whether this is your cup of tea or not. Production value is off the scale, no expense spared, Hollywood levels, was expecting Daniel Craig to jump out from behind a graphic of the space time continuum at one point.

Found the whole thing fascinating, also fairly depressing at times, always the case with the heat death of the universe.

Incredible what Science is capable of and has achieved.

Loving the first two episodes of this! Production is breathtaking.

Does really make you think what is the point of anything. Although after last nights episode (ep. 2) I came away thinking how incredible it would be if Earth was indeed the only place there is life

They split the 4th (5th and 6th too I think) into A & B. Mid season break at the time.

I enjoyed the series overall

Hard to talk about Kin when you watch the latest episode of Succession. It was class!!

Great show so well written and acted it's hotting up nicely!

Really enjoying Succession myself. Some great performances in it, and It mixes drama and comedy really well.

Seasons 4,5 and 6 were bigger seasons (20 episodes), split into two batches of 10.  First ten came and maybe 8/9 months later they did the second batch of 10.

Not sure where you'd see it in Ireland or Britain, but PBS have Ken Burns' documentary on Mohammed Ali up in the US at the moment.

Only a wee bit into the second episode, but so far its absolutely riveting stuff. I guess how could it not be, given the subject!

A lot of detail on the Liston fights and, especially, his relationship with Malcolm X and Elijah Mohammed. Have to say his statement on the death of Malcolm X was shocking for a man, who up to that point, had you rooting utterly for him as he rose to the top of the sports in an appallingly racist society.

Brilliant stuff, as always, from Ken Burns though.

Squid Game - derivative, boring, gore porn. Like one of the particularly bad Saw movies (Saw 4 or 5, maybe) stretched out for 8 hours. Watched the last three episodes at X1.5 speed just for the sake of completionism. Increasingly, these Netflix fads are to be avoided.
Doc would listen to any kind of nonsense and change it for you to a kind of wisdom.

An Watcher

Watched Colin Kapaernicks new show on Netflix.  Colin in Black & White.  Enjoyed it, very good.  Done very differently which you'll understand if you watch it.

Newbridge Exile

Narcos Mexico Season 3 is next on my list to watch

Hadn't heard it was back.

Excellent. Presume its getting into El Chapo territory at this point with Felix Gallardo put away?

Thought the 1st episode back was brilliant
