Downloaded Italian Mafioso drama Gomorrah & watched 12 episodes over 2/3 days. Superb stuff, withdrawal symptoms already. Hankering for Series 2.

Watched this myself over the weekend - what a show

I just missed Ziggy's heads-up  in time  to catch the  Spiral 5 bbc4 premiere. but the 1st episode was up on kickass, an hour or so later.
Series 5 has gone a few shades darker than its regular standard film noir, the dress code has hit salvation army standards and morals in the opposite direction, you're almost rooting for the lucious but deadly ice maiden, Josephine, as he she plots her return.
The standard throughout  every episode, in ever series  so far (into series 5) , has been consistently riveting. Vive le Spiral.

Series 10 of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia began at the weekend (in US - watched it on Showbox) began with a clinker episode.

Anyone looking a project could do worse than give this a go, first series or two a bit meh, but consistently superb from then on(bit Indie on it).

House of Cards is amazing.

The Bridge (Swedish) is brilliant.

But if you haven't seen the Wire, you are a lucky bastard. I'd give a testicle to wipe it from my memory and start again. It's the greatest thing ever filmed.

Deadwood. ...Incredible show. A man's show though more than a couples show

annapr

I started watching Chicago Fire a while back and I'm really enjoying it.

Yep Frank is back on 27th.

The Killing (both versions) also a good shout.

I take it you have seen 24, still arguably my favourite.  The Blacklist and Person of Interest are very good too.

The Killing isn't bad.

I thought the killing was excellent, but very hard watch at times. I can be a sentimental divil these days, since I started having kids of my own, and that last scene (no spoiler alert) nearly killed me.

US version?

smort

Do not go near the US version of the killing, its diabolical in comparison to the original!!
