Halfway through S3 of Game of Thrones. Finding it hardish to keep up with all the characters in it though. Really need your wits about you imo to watch it. Intend reading the books after this.

You should have done that in school! Way too late for you now.  ;D ;D

I like the story about the Belgian teacher who was having trouble with an unruly class.  He asked the class if many of them watched Game of Thrones?  A lot of them did.  He said he'd read all the books and if they didn't quiet down, he would write on the Board who was the next person to die.

They shut up.

Watched Episode 6 of True Detective, unbelievable.  Can't wait for the next two so have them on disc here for tonight.  Noticed Dion Dublin there, uncanny resemblence.

;D Thought the same myself . Up to episode 6 really enjoying it. Mc Conaghey is brilliant in it imo

Great ending to Game of Thrones tonight. It was a real "holy f**k" moment.

Anyone watch Fargo tonight on channel 4. Excellent.  Based on the film.

Yeah, thought it was good but Martin Freeman wasn't convincing for me, annoying in fact.

I enjoyed it as well, but couldn't stop thinking martin freeman just isn't as good as william H macy at that character. Very hard to believe anyone else doing the role

Agree with all of this. Watched it tonight and really enjoyed it but agree Freeman is a weak link.

Was that "Better Call" Saul Goodman as a policeman?

After watching the first series on Sky Arts & the hoors not showing the 2nd, I bought Hatufim / Prisoners of War Boxset (directly from Israel, customs charge of £12 too the bastids). For anyone who watched series 1, series 2 is just f**king superb.

(This is the show that Homeland is based on).

Thanks, will watch out for that. S1 was excellent.

Same as that, I'd appreciate a heads up if it returns as I tend not to look at the schedule for Sky Arts.
Season 2 on Sky Arts on Friday nite @11.30pm.

I've never seen the film so I didn't think Freeman was that bad as I wasn't comparing him to the original.
I enjoyed it.
