We get the abuse in here and it is the clubs that are the hypocrites with paying trainers and managers etc..
As if they are all holier than thou and it is themselves that have created this whole hypocrisy .Go through each club in Div1 and 2 and tell me which clubs are paying within the regulated  allowances ....
The sickening part is they wont admit it and everyone on here knows it is going on and all are in on it.

Why in our submission responding to the Ard Stiurthoir's discussion paper did our county board advocate the implimentation of the Association's existing policy ,rules and guidlines on its amateur status .
Does that not smell of hypocisy of the highest order then?
If your point is all our board members are club members and that it is hard to put across a practical arguement against not supporting payment to managers , why did we respond in our counties submission that we support the amateur status of our association.

You are very ambivalent in your opinions on the County board, Hard working amateurs who do not deserve the abuse or hypocrites? ???

Maybe there are both present on the county board / they are both .You tell me in relation to the amateur status , what way are our managers looked after ?

A typical response from a self serving idiot who doesn't understand what goes into the county administration and it is not just looking after paid coaches that clubs do.
These hard working administrators do it for free and are the real champions of our association. How much money is spent by our posters here clubs on trainers and manager as a matter of interest. It is a time of economic hardship and I would be very keen to know what our club adminstrators arrange with their club benefactors the payouts they give to these mercenaries .They are not worried about the diesel costs of club supporters .They want to ply the latest manager / trainer with money for their so called expertise , quite sickening.

Would you quit complaining if you knew the effort put in to getting these fixtures sorted you wouldn't be so critical. Also the amount of meetings and so forth we shouldn't be complaining only complimenting our hard working administrators.

I'll make you sweat a bit more needless to say I will have news very soon and championship timing will not be the same as last year.

Just hope the men from the hill get something done on appeal. How could they say 8 men were guilty and are set to miss out on a very special day in their history.Seems to me to be an agenda against us as a whole by a Kerry influenced GAA.The media and the authorities will have a lot to answer for if those men miss out on an All-ireland day.Have we no influence in the corridors of power or do the cute kerry hoors dictate policy and an eejit on rte radio ?

At the end of the day everyone wants to see quality games throughout the season ,club championships the way they are being proposed with two games before the Armagh game would be a great idea and really build up the momentum for the Summer rather than the crammed farce we had last year.It will give the serious clubs time to plan for a championship and also leave the winners a better chance of achieving in Ulster.

Talk I heard was they were going to play two rounds before the Armagh game June 10 on the weekends of May 11-13 and May 25-27 .
There will be opposition from some quarters but clubs like Coalisland and Clonoe with players going to the states in the past are pushing hard for it to go through.I think it would be a good thing .
This is going to happen and starting the leagues earlier is all part of the strategy.I had it confirmed this week by one of the conty backroom.Clubs that have previously lost young lads to the states etc are very much in favour as with championship momentum built it might help keep them at home.I see no reason for this not to hapen.

Interesting if posters could contribute to the debate and in relation to clubs within their own counties , are there many clubs breaking the GAA rules ?
Or maybe a better question would be what  clubs are not paying their senior manager?
