The only people who can come to Ireland and work freely are EU nationals and British national. All other immigration is controlled. And getting a visa to work and live in Ireland is not straightforward. You need an Employer to sponsor you. It costs a lot of money. If the employer could fine an Irish or even EU national they would.
So anyone talking about controlling our borders or immigration, with respect, is talking nonsense.

The economy would collapse in Dublin and Ireland without immigrants. Especially the hospitality industry. Health, education and social care all rely heavily on immigrants.

My car insurance was around £18 a month.

I stuck the young lad on it recently and it went up to £120 a month. I needed him on it that day but realised soon after it had been sorted by someone else (long story). Phoned them back within 2 hrs and said cancel that. They said no problem, back to your old insurance then. £100 a month. I said, but it was £18 and they said, tough. Poor error on my part.

An error on my part with car insurance years ago was putting in my DOB !!

So instead of 2/1/1972 the normal way it came up 1/2/1972...

For some daft reason I phoned them back to explain the difference, it cost me £50 extra over the year! Checked all over and it was the cheapest ffs!
