Congrats to Crokes, what a club, at all ages and codes they are always there or thereabouts.

I think the last club to do the Dublin double was Vincent's in 1981?

One player on both panels?

Yes, and that player was a sub for the football final.

Thought I heard that..

Crokes have some set up in fairness to them, to have as many senior teams at both codes with virtually no crossovers is brilliant, for a manager and players not dealing with dual players makes preparation so much easier. not saying the lads only hurl, they may play at other levels within the club.

Would Kilmacud be the original "super-club"?

Rossfan

They probably have more playing members than any of the  the smallest 4 Counties :-\

This Dublin final is a game of pass the parcel. 18 minutes and counting and no score

The stuff makes the Armagh championship look positively exciting.
Did you watch any of the Armagh championship this year? Very exciting and outsiders won all 3 grades...

I did, that is why they said that they were better to watch.

Technically yes, in way of championships won alright but I don't know what membership numbers were like from say 50s to 90s in Dublin, Vincents would have had big playing numbers id say until the emergence of others like Boden, Crokes, Na Fianna

Two cracking games, Ballygunner are going for sometime now at this level, I don't think Ballyea without Tony Kelly will be able for them.

The other game is a coin toss, just when you thought Thurles were winning Loughmore came again.
