Job..... Planted loads of seeds this year and they're ready to bear fruit.

Family...... Wait and see.

Sporting..... Greencastle back in Division 1

Health...... Spent this year trying to get back into shape. Almost there, 2014 to get there.

Other...... Get off the singles list.

Job: would love a secondment somewhere exiting, otherwise can't complain

Family: getting married so a big year!

Sporting: would love to enjoy my days at the Ryder Cup after a Tyrone win

Health: as is (maybe half a stone lighter and a PB in the park run!)

Other: personally nothing

God I'm boring, but also know I'm incredibly lucky!

Job.....To be in the same job in the same place through the whole year.

Family......To continue to be the best da I can be and maybe put a ring on the other halfs finger.

Sporting.....Considering a training at a combat sport in new year.

Health......As is mentally, improvements to be made physically.

Other......To try and save a bit of money. Something I haven't been able to do over past few years but I hope there will be less excuses this year.

Job.....Big year ahead for our place so get over that safely and start thinking about a move in the next 18 months. Happy enough where I am though.

Family......Would like the wanes to behave better and hopefully for me to be less of a grumpy hoor. Both are inextricably linked.

Sporting.....Would like to see Liverpool build on what they are currently doing, Antrim hurling to get a period of consolidation and maybe some progress.

Health......Definite need for significant weight loss (at least 1.5 stone) and associated fitness. Might even go for a run with Laoislad!

Other......Might take up some charity work through the wee fellas school. Being badgered about mini-rugby coaching too so may relent on that. No time is a great excuse  :)

Job..... Not a problem at all. I got no job to go to! ( May the disability pension keep on coming!)

Family...... Just hope the whole lot of them are still around this time next year and no worse off that they are now. Thankfully, all are reporting fit and healthy at present.

Sporting..... Need you ask? Mayo for Sam of course!

Health...... A bit iffy on a number of fronts right now. But I've been cat lucky so far and have no major issues so I'm hoping for more of the same in 2014.

Other...... I hope our economy starts to pick up and that those in need find things a bit easier in the coming year.

Family......That the family in Ireland try to understand what I'm going through, and that the wife changes her mind about the seperation. it'd kill the wee lad

Health......To get the knees operated on and that weird pins and needles feeling continually in my back and shoulders to get sorted out

Other......Happieness in general for one and all

What are you hoping for in 2014?

Job.....Job going well, took a new business development post last year and all is good. Wouldnt mind a few more shackles, but sure who wouldnt?

Family......Thankfully things are good there too. Herself making noises about a baby but I don't think I can face that again! Will do it if I have to!

Sporting.....Another good year for Tyrone, and to see Arsenal move back into contenders on a regular basis. Quit the football myself in June, so I need to get back to some sort of working out as I'm spreading out like the mouth of the shannon. On a somewhat related note, hoping to keep the downward trend on the handicap and win a few tournaments at the club this year.

Health......Need to lose a few pounds, and I need to start taking preventative medicine for the asthma. Kid told me the other night I sounded like a puppy as we were trying to fall asleep.

Other......Desperately need to get out of the current abode and into a nicer gaff for my sanity.

Hope all your wishes come to fruition folks.

Job..... Looking a change of direction, been teaching now over 12 years and maybe need a new challenge

Family...... all (touch wood) good so far kids are 13 and 10 now so they keep us on our twos my other lad 21 and doing well on all fronts

Sporting..... Antrim to do better (not difficult) the club to continue winning championships, I've one more year in me possibly for the reserves, 42 now but as fit now than I ever was, complete a few more triathlons this year also and get below the 20 min for 5K

Health......Health seems fine, should maybe cut down on the drink maybe, family health is good also

Other...... Wanting to get out of the rut I'm in, midlife crisis maybe but maybe a new job will help that

What are you hoping for in 2014?

Job..... Love to move west after 15 years. Would also like a 'sideline' of some description that would bring in an extra couple of k a year. Don't we all!

Family...... Number 3 expected in a couple of weeks time. Happy and healthy!

Sporting..... Love to run a sub 22 minute 5k in next two or three months.

Health...... Knee surgery in the spring. Would love a run of 12 months injury free. Have a different niggle every other week at the moment and am never injury free.

Other...... Glad 2013 is over! Hope it's a better year that lies ahead

What are you hoping for in 2014?

Job..... Job security is current job is very good. Keeps the mind at ease. Would be tempted if something closer to home comes up though- currently a 45 minute trip- not too excessive but would like closer now I have a family.

Family......Birth of my first daughter in February 2013. Changed everything. Don't plan on adding to that in 2014.

Sporting..... Above semi retired me in 2013. Just played a reserves and trained once a year. Same again this year probably as wife works on training nights. Also depends on health (see below).

Health......Went for a heart scan in June 2013. Told I have two holes and a weak wall. Been for 3 scans and now waiting on an MRI scan on my heart. Blood taken a couple of weeks ago to test if there were any other issues before the scan. Operation pending. Hoping sooner rather than later. Waiting about is driving me a bit nuts.

Other...... 2014: Myself and the Misses have the following:
Eight Weddings
Five Stag/Hen Parties
Birth of a new niece or nephew- christening thereafter
Own Childs First Birthday
Want to get curtains for house, couple of rooms painted, sitting room needs a stove and fire place, need a new car, and save for Christmas 2014.
Also want to finish my first novel.

You can have loads of healthy home made Chinese food, Sharwoods noodles takes 2 mins to cook and mix it in with whatever you what, beef, chicken, salmon, bitta oil and knock in a bit of Soy sauce with whatever veg suits your taste, takes 20 mins.

There is a thread on cooking I think ;)
