Quote from: Joeythelips on October 06, 2023, 01:19:12 PMThe job is to be a good pundit, convey the game tactically and critically in s a somewhat entertaining manner. The vast majority of sports pundits are awful regardless of gender.
Of the female pundits I have heard I'd say Karen Carney and Emma Hayes are very good in my opinion (or at least as good as the male ones)

Might be decent however her awful accent isn't easy to listen too. Is Gabby Logan still involved nowadays? Was among the better ones or be it more of a presenter than a pundit.

Her accent is beautiful.

Brilliant show. The writing, acting and locations are all top-class.
Although I do understand a lot of the "patois" and slang the subtitles are a must.

The Traveling Wilburys.
Robbie Robertson of The Band

Wow. Wasn't expecting to hear that. He did the documentary a couple of years back and seemed in good health. :(

Brilliant song writer and guitarist.

Has there been a more individually talented group than The Band?

Trevor Francis.

Bit of irony in there somewhere. First £1million player on the day football offically becomes couped, with a £1billion 1yr package for Mbappe proposed....

A true Birmingham legend.
RIP Superboy.

Thought I was looking at the Armagh highlights. Turns out it was just Elton John! Some crowd.
Pity the other acts as it looks like everyone is there. Hard to make out a lot of what he's singing!

It was never easy at the best of times to understand him.
A doddery old queen he may be but what a performer.

Celebration on the pitch of being shite, you ever seen the likes of it

Happened at Birmingham quite a few times in the 70's.
