Any confirmed call ups as of yet? A lot of rumours but I'm sure we'll not find out for sure until 2 weeks time when they are back to training in "public eye" at Garvaghey

Conn Kilpatrick called up.

Only one I can confirm at present.
Michael O'Neill Ardboe also confirmed.

Townies are junior. Well it hasn't been a bad year after all.

Did I hear they even wheeled out Mugsy for the day?
He got 15 minutes. Clutching at straws at that stage.

Any word if Danny McNulty back in the reckoning then?

Doubt it, from what I hear McClure is going also from panel.

Sounds like there is going to be a massive push on from Clonoe next year then.

McClure was one of the players I would have expected to be cut this year, we have lots of midfield options at the minute and he had been usurped by the likes of Kennedy and Richie Donnelly. Hopefully Kilpatrick gets a go, any word on Paudie McNulty gettingba recall?

Massive boost to the new Clonoe manager....whomever they go for....(still hearing Cassidy is in the running!!!!)

Paudy McNulty had a back operation, I don't know if you'll see the same player...I don't....at this point think he's back.
A pre-condition for Cassidy coming back---NO COUNTY MEN
Stephen McDonnell taking over Clonoe for 2020.
So much for the Cassidy talk.

I see Conor McKenna got a goal for Eglish today. Any reports on how he was in general play?
Edendork appealing the result due to McKennas ineligibility? Not registered due to his professional contract status?

Championship structure may need changed too, every other county seem to do the groups allowing teams to have off days. Not a back door but a group of 3 and the top two qualify or something. As well as every other county doing it, it is also similar to the Super 8s

Leave the championship alone. We have the best in Ulster with the straight knockout format. Do or die on the day is what championship is all about.
I disagree, groups would be very entertaining it still does ultimately come down to the day
There is a lot of things around Tyrone thats needs to be looked at and reviewed but the championship format is definitely not one of them, its the main thing the county has got spot on at present.

Tattyreagh still have a pretty young squad. They'll be in Division 2 for a good few years yet

They'll compete in D2. Wouldn't be surprised if they pop back into Senior in a years time.
2020 will be a big year for Tattyreagh to ensure they maintain Intermediate status.

Think the reason playoffs were introduced was to stop teams from throwing games a lot earlier in the season. Massive overhaul is needed for club football. Something really needs sorted for Reserve football as it is effectively dead.

Always thought it was a compromise to allow club games to be played on without involvement of county players?

Agree that a major overhaul is needed for club football. The current system isn't sustainable.

Edit: Any word on the proposed Dregish/Newtownstewart amalgamation? No mention of it on either of their FB pages, and Dregish are even advertising a Bazzar fundraiser for 1st December.
They will be playing next year under the name Naomh Eoghan.

County board would really need to do a review of the league structures.
Situation in division 2 with a number of teams tied on 13 points for the final play off place and seemingly none of them wanting to be in them. Would it not make sense to cut the play offs altogether or atleast cut the amount of teams that play in them.
Fixtures dragging on in mid-late November maybe December.
Surely it can't be too much of an ask to plan for all fixtures to be played pre-championship. Im sure plans could be put in place for club league games be played alongside the Senior Team making the AI Semi Finals and the U20's winning Ulster each year.

Looking forward to the final today.

Fancy Errigal to shade it, they have a bit more firepower to come off the bench.

Some of the match ups will be interesting, I'd expect the county boys to pick each other up.

McCrory on Lee Brennan
R Brennan on Harte
McDonnell on R Donnelly

It will be interesting to see who Errigal get to pick up Mattie, Niall Kelly perhaps or maybe McDonnell will take him?
If McDonell picks up richie; errigal will be in bother.
Mattie May need double marked because no player, with the exception of hampsey, has the size and strength to match him at Tyrone club level.
Who Trillick send after canavan is another massive call, not sure they have a defender good enough for the job. Although Trillick are good at not leaving a player exposed in a one on one situation.

Michael O'Neill of Ardboe definitely worth a call up.

Donaghy from Edendork too.

How is McNulty going for Dungannon? I'd have him back in the squad if he's fit and going well.
Very poor against Carrickmore, non existent the first game, slightly better second day but not good either. Can't see him being county material. If you're looking that type of target man I'd agree McNulty might be worth another look.
O'Neill also very good and could be worth a look at.

so going by the championship so far who do we think is worthy of a call up to the county setup? i would presume it will be run on a trial based the same as last year?
Conn Kilpatrick - Edendork
Niall Kelly - Errigal Ciaran
Daniel Kerr - Galbally
Conor Quinn - Galbally
Conall Grimes - Loughmacrory
Tiernan Quinn and Darragh Canavan also be worth a call up but would be a shame if they didn't get their final year of Under 20s.
Lee Brennan's exhibition of free taking in the championship should be worthy of giving him more time with Tyrone. Mark Bradley also be a welcome returnee. Both would be excellent of McShane.
