Saddest post of all time coming up  :o

Due to being the father of a 3 year old and a 20 month old who are both early risers I haven't matched a movie in 2 or 3 years.
I thought it was about time I caught up with some of the best movies I have missed out on, except the only problem is that I haven't been keeping up to date with what has been released over this period.

So if I was looking to view the best dozen or so movies of the last couple of years, what would appear on your list?

Archie Mitchell

Check out the movie recommendations thread. Too many to name here

Aye start with No Country for Old Men. Taken with Liam Neeson got some love on the movie recommendations thread if you like actioners.

Doubt also comes recommended by some people.

Puckoon

Gran Torino with Eastwood would get my vote.

I posted about it in the movie recomendations thread.
You'll probably be dissapointed if you read the book otherwise a medicore (though enjoyable) thriller.  imo.
