Would love United to draw Liverpool in Europe now. Couldn't see them playing as poorly over 2 games again.

Honestly wouldnt like to draw them b4stards in Europe
Rafa can get a result over 2 games & for that reason I would be very wary
Fair dues to the scousers, they deserved to win (not by 4-1 though)
Forgot how much I hated 'pool supporters until yesterday :-\

Vidic had to make the rare mistake against f**king Liverpool. One of them days where liverpool did nothing wrong. (except reina's mistake) They all performed well and all worked harder than the united players. It was a great win for them. Same here TAM

Same here TAM, I stand alone as all Knockmore is a Liverpool haven. I just got so much stick (filthy msgs) I turned off my phone.

Well O'Mahony was well used to moaning about the likes of what you've stated there moysider during his days as Galway manager. A leopard never changes his spots I'm afraid. I wonder what the Mayo crowd will be like?

I agree with mayo51, however Mayo's performance wasn't that bad. Should be more in front at half time I thought. I also think that Mayo's attack could have scored more but the wind or bad judgement took the ball away from the posts and wide. I'm delighted Kevin McLoughlin got motm, he did break down a lot of the Galway attacks I thought and maybe O'Shea at centrefield gave him a run for money. Anyway it's lovely to beat Galway by a point. Roscommon next up next week, won't be easy as their minor team from 06 will be u-21 for the last time and will want to win and make an impression I'm sure. Charlestown beckons again next Saturday...

glad its in Ballina the longer castlebar is closed the better as far as i'm concerned  ;)

You're not the only one who has those sentiments. It's an unusual combination though of a Crossmolina man and a Knockmore man agreeing about pitches. I'm sure the Ballina men are the same!

Mayo / Re: Mayo Club Football.

I think the long break was that way last year as well lads. It's pure wrong, imo they should have club c'ship games the week after the county plays IN ALL COUNTIES. And the league should be played in weeks in between games etc.

It seems like it's going to be in Ballina now. Unless the redevelopment of McHale Park is put into automode for the next 9 days.

I see on the u-21 thread, the McHale Park reopening may be later than initially planned. What if it isn't ready for the championship? Will Mayo be nomadic for a few years I wonder?

With the help of God and a few miracles they'll be beaten on Sunday.

Lads, I'm of the consensus that O'Connor will want the best of his team/panel for the whole season. It's true that we will learn about ourselves here. I expected more from our opening 3 games because we have a hard 'run in' in the league in my opinion.

As regards the television, I too thought that Mayo would be shown either deferred or live by now. It seems the tv crews don't want to show Mayo for some reason.

Will there be tickets for this game on-sale on the day? There should be I suppose, how many supporters will the 4 clubs bring?

SoI wasn't dreaming at all!! ;)

Galway appear to be bigger challengers than people realise.

True, the hoors you can't write them off. ;)
