"There's a lot of people hellbent in the GAA in talking down the provincial championships, even though the provincial championship in Ulster, there is no change on it. It's still the exact same thing that it always was,"

"But people's perception of it, that people are not taking it seriously or people are focusing on the All-Ireland, it's absolute nonsense. A paper doesn't refuse ink, or conversations on podcast.

"The bottom line for us is that it will always be the number one competition. Whenever we're out of that competition, the next one will be the number one competition. There is two competitions every single year, in terms of championship football, and you focus on the first one first and the second one second.

"That is absolutely it. For us, everything from that very first training session to that ball being thrown in at Celtic Park is focused on that moment, nothing else.

"We will obviously be going out to win as many games as we can in Division 2, you're trying to get promotion, keep the wheel turning, build the positivity and try and get up into a higher level for the next year.

"But the only reason you're trying to do that is to be in a better place against better teams so you're better positioned for the Ulster championship."

Well said by McGuinness. Devenney did a good interview with him, which is where this quote is from.

Especially with Ulster so competitive right now. I could see someone downplaying it a bit during periods when the province is not that strong (we won a couple of relatively handy ones in 2018 and 2019) but you've a couple of teams who should be aiming for AI semis at least, and several more who could beat any of them on the day.

From Creeslough myself. Just in shock here. Such a busy place there, post office, shop, deli, petrol station and beauty salon. Happened just after schools finished up for the weekend, and it's a regular trip for parents and kids to go up for a treat on Friday.
Just in disbelief.

Anyone know if can take a pram to croker?

https://crokepark.ie/match-day/faq

it mentions a buggy but i am sure its the same for a pram. Few years ago we brought a buggy/stroller into Croke park, it folded longways so we were able to just put it under our seats.
We had to enter the stand via the wheel chair entrance, for Cusack stand it was right down near the end of the turn styles close to the Canal End.
Bear in mind  that you will need a ticket for the baby too, they insist on it even if the baby will just end up sitting on your lap. I assume its a baby as its a pram you are taking.
Another time we went my wife took a Baby Bjorn (front carrier ) and was actually much handier, and for sitting  in the seat too . (Though would it fall foul of the A4 size back pack in croke park's eyes lol , you never know with them!!!!!)

word is the it will be the Donegal u-21 squad that will represent Donegal in the Dr. MCKenna cup, players and manager

http://www.donegalsporthub.com/32620-2/

16 of the senior panel would be unavailable due to playing with their colleges.

Might mean a tentative start to the league, but who gives a bollocks, really?

Hope Rory uses his squad in the league this year. No need for Murphy, Lacey, Big Neil and the rest to be playing every game from February onwards.
+1 use the league for the squad and give the older guys a rest

Anyone allocated tickets for monaghan v Donegal yet?

DON V's MON game is bring you card to the game as the open seating section is where you sit. Covered seat reserved by ulster council.

Check in your season ticket online account to make sure your card is valid (ie your payment went trough) by going to my tickets and it be listed there with card/badge beside it, if its not listed then there is a problem.

from the season ticket email during the week:

Once payments have been processed you will simply be required to present your season ticket card for scanning at the designated turnstile(s) in the Open Stand. Seating is unreserved.
