I think every chapel should have a specal room to leave them in with toys or even a video. Its hard to consentrate when theres crying babies all around you. it must put the priest of to
'We just go out to play our football and let the critics say what they want. They usually do anyway"

nah - if you are concentrating hard enough on your prayers or what the priest is saying, you dont really hear them.

A soundproof kids/family room is a good idea (assists those with lesser powers of concentration)
but not every place can fit one in.

as you do enough whinging now, I can only imagine you did a fair bit of whining as a baby and folk obv tolerated yerself ;)

This morning at the start of mass, the priest walked up onto the alter and discovered that the microphone was not working, so he said "there is something wrong here"

And the congregation replied "and also with you"
Cover me in chocolate and feed me to the lesbians

Babies should not be aloud in Mass. Little gags should be distributed at the doors.

If you think Grandma allowed the kids to eat too much ice cream, you'd better not say so aloud, or her feelings will be hurt.
"Aloud" means "out loud" and refers to sounds (most often speech) that can be heard by others. But this word is often misused when people mean "allowed," meaning "permitted."

The children are already aloud - the question should be "Should babies be allowed" at mass, surely?

Did you have a bad experience at Mass this morning Armagh4SamAgain?
Talking is an overrated way of communicating.

No I have to agree with AFSA, the chapel i go to hasn't one but two of those quiet rooms for kids
and not one of them is used, i keep moving further up to the front and have even attended masses
at different times to get away from it but I'll swear they follow me, :'(
  It is distracting.

Try going to a different parish. Some parishs have more babies than others and only catholic babies count cause the other ones dont go to mass
