Just curious to know if any hurlers out there have any comment on sliotars from O'Neills at the moment?  Lads in our club feel they're a different bouncier ball entirely from last year, but O'Neills are saying they're the same spec?

Maybe you've got a few dozen of the old "super bouncies" with the rubber core they had out about 5 years ago. Maybe old stock and they thought you wouldn't notice. I haven't notice any difference to be honest.

Try slicing this tear's and last year's open and see what the core is like.
Whether it has one of those giant joke shop rubber balls in it or wrapped elastic.
