No response yet from Crossmaglen Hitmen (last years winners), Turkhaus (who would have been promoted) and Mayo4Lombardi.

If anyone knows any of these players could you give them a shout? Will give it a day or two.

***Please keep an eye on the board over the next few days as will need to send emails for promotion/relegation and potential new players as well as organizing the dates for drafting***. Cutting it a little tight but will get it sorted so long as the emails are responded to on time.

Could David McKeown and Muck Savage private message me an email address. I will do my best to accommodate the new and returning team.

I replied on the 28th of July

Hitmen are back to defend their championship

With the shotgun format there can only be 54 players

Right now they have 5 of the top 30 in world rankings, its hard to see them picking up another 10-30 top 50 world ranked players to compete with the PGA or DP World Tour.

The money will eventually dry up with all the "bonus fees" to join and insane payouts for individual and team format. They will eventually need sponsorship money.

How much does the "Shark" make as CEO?

A man on a holy mission

A truck carrying ecclesiastical supplies was driven through the gates of the Russian embassy in Dublin this afternoon.

Just read that story and this sentence stands out from the embassy:

"The incident is cause of extreme concern. We believe that no people of sound mind could support such senseless and barbaric actions," it added.

Mind boggling

Zaporizhzhia Ukraine has the largest Nuclear Plant in Europe.

It is now on fire from Russian shelling.

Scientists stated this could be 10 times worse than Chernobyl

Double vaccinated 6 months ago (Pfizer)

Had a pre work covid test on the 27th of Oct - negative

Felt like a head cold/sinus infection (no temp) Saturday and stayed like that till Tuesday, called off of work M/T had to take a covid test to go back to work today (they are really strict) - positive.

This evening noticed loss of smell, opened a spice jar of both Garlic and Cinnamon and nothing.

Wore my mask everywhere, never went out to socialize the past 2 months because I was swamped with work.

10 days off of work till next test on the 22.

So far all minor symptoms, doctor said the vaccine is more than likely keeping me this way.

Be Careful

Rapid test today and I am now Covid negative.

Still exhausted and a cough but feeling better than last week. Walking three floors to my flat is tiring so I will have to build up my strength again. I feel I was lucky as my vaccinations helped and couldn't imagine going through it without being vaccinated.

Keep safe and mask up.

He crossed state lines alright but didn't bring the gun with him-the gun was already in WI

He lives 20 minutes away from Kenosha in a town that abuts the border-the fact he crossed into another state is completely irrelevant.

That's like pointing out  someone went from Celbridge to Lucan-people do it all the time and probably some do it several times a day

That being said, he should get 20/30 years in jail IMHO. He had no business being there

The problem is that the prosecutor overcharged him and in the process turned it into a self defense case. I just can't see how they can reach an unanimous verdict in this

Well crossing the state line with a weapon is obviously irrelevant then if he didn't in fact bring the weapon across state lines. :)

Like I said, I haven't been paying too much attention.

But my anger would be more towards the parents and adults in his life, letting a stupid kid get into that situation with a weapon like that.

Can't comment much beyond that - it wouldn't surprise me in the least if what he did was legal given US gun laws. If the prosecutor screwed up by overcharging, then obviously Kenosha needs to look at its DA office.

It's completely ar$e backwards

He wasn't even breaking the law by being in possession of the gun. That got thrown out yesterday due to the length of the barrel

Mother should face jail time - bringing him to a bar to drink beer and hang out with a group of "Proud Boys" while flashing white supremacy signs is just a further example of her bad judgement

The bold is a perfect example of parents today, they want to be pals with their kids and not a parent.

Also reminds me of a sign I saw many years ago.....Stupid people shouldn't Breed.

I have been watching the majority of this trial as I'm home due to Covid and the prosecutor did screw this up but the lesser felony charges should have convictions.

If this kid wasn't there no one would have died.

Just lost a good friend today to suicide

I knew him for over thirty years and he had his demons but was fighting them and seeking treatment.
This was his third attempt in the past fifteen years and will be greatly missed. Stood up in his wedding just over a year ago and was my partner in our Monday Night Golf League.

If you or someone you know has a problem PLEASE reach out!!
