Mourinho was doing what he does best in deflecting attention from a poor United performance, can't believe at this stage pundits are still falling for it.

A very good win yesterday, played some very good football in the first half and should have gone in further ahead. The last 20 minutes were frustrating but United just don't have the legs given that was our 4th game in 11 days and we were the 4 players who are definite to start in our front 6. Mourinho was happy to allow Boro to launch balls into the box, was a dangerous tactic but it worked.

Mourinho is going to have to use the squad over the next 2 months, someone like Young who's barely featured showed yesterday he can be of us. Lingard had one of his better games yesterday, all about consistency with him and performing like that every week.

If Galway finish level with Meath on points then Meath go up on the head to head.

That was a hard watch last night but it was all about the result.Hopefully Pogba injury isn't too bad, hopefully back for Everton which is just under 3 weeks away. International break coming at the right time as we'll have 9 games in April.

Rashford will start Sunday, hopefully Martial is back too. Carrick & Fellaini will certainly start, I'd start Lingard or Young too. Mourinho has to start using the squad a bit more if we're to win the EL and finish top 4. Priority has to be to win the Europa League.

Monaco better team over 2 legs and it would have been a more comfortable win apart from a crazy ten minutes in the first leg where they conceded 3 goals. Then there was the massive error from the Monaco keeper and Falcao's missed pen.

People forget Pep spent £170m last summer to add to a team that had the so called best squad in the league. He'll spend at least that again this summer.

Monaco are very impressive going forward but they can only play one way, once they retreated in the 2nd half they were picked off very easily. If they could keep that bunch of players together they'd be a better team next season but that won't happen. United have been linked with both central midfielders for a while, Fabinho certainly had the better game last night. The left back was brilliant too.

How many club does Monaghan have?

If they can win an Ulster final you'd have to fancy them to finally win a quarter final. When was the last time Monaghan won a championship game in Croke Park?

So what if Hazard was fouled a lot by United, a player like him is always going to be fouled more than anyone else given he takes players on and is good at it. Herrera didn't deserve to be sent of for those 2 fouls especially considering they were his only 2 fouls.

You can't take anyone seriously who turns up on here giving out about United yet when the decisions go against us are nowhere to be seen.

I thought Rojo would get a ban although I can see why he's got away with it.

I watched him a bit last night as I had no vested interest. I think he is very much a luxury player. He has creativity, but probably not as much as you would like. He looks like he could score a goal, but again, probably not as much as he should be scoring. Everything with regard to Pogba will be viewed through a prism of 90m quid, but if you take the cost out of it, as a player he just doesn't work hard enough, doesn't tackle hard enough, and doesn't seem to be a leader. I was looking to see would he drive United forward last night, but he didn't. He's obviously still maturing, but I'd class him as a talented but raw young lad, who isn't as creative as you might think, and who needs to work on his workrate and his finishing.

He's had a bad few weeks but prior to that he was playing well, no way near as bad as the media are making out. The level of criticism is over the top.

He looks tired to me which is understandable given the amount of games he's played. He's still learning how to play the role, its different from how he was asked to play for Juve and he needs to be more disciplined. The major criticism I would have of him would be his finishing, he really should have scored a lot more goals given the amount of chances he's had.

Five game ban for Rojo after this stamp last night?

Looks more deliberate than Mings imo.

Yep looks bad alright but I would suspect 3 games. Ming's was to the head so warranted the extra 2 games.

He got the extra 2 games because of the severity of intentionally stamping on someone's head.

The extra 2 games comes from having his appeal turned down no? If he had accepted the three games that would have been it.

Rojo will get a 3 game ban, you'd have to be a bit simple to think thats worse than what Mings did.

Agree with what most of my fellow reds have said above. Missed the first half as was at a funeral so can't comment on what went on. The BBC didn't mention once after the game United were in Russia on Thursday night whilst Chelsea have had a week off, plays a huge part given all the extra games United have played. Its an unusual league this year as 2 of the challengers have had no European football that has really benefitted their style of play.

Mourinho is the best manager Chelsea have ever had and likely will ever have, really can't understand why Chelsea fans would give him grief.

I'm hoping we can get through the next 2 game unharmed, international break is coming at the right stage. Herrera will get his rest as he's banned for the next 2 league games, Pogba is desperately in need of a rest and some of the criticism he gets is unfair. The lad has a lot of talent but is used to playing with a lot more freedom at Juve whilst he's playing in a more defensive role at OT, once he cuts out some of the daft things he does I think he'll be fine and we'll see what he's capable of.

Costa is only a tr**p, I'd have to see it again but a mate reckons Costa raised his knee into De Gea with one of those challengers. I saw the Rojo stamp although on twitter so not sure but if guilty will deservedly get a 3 game ban. Its a shame the Premier League won't do anything about the serial offenders that continue to dive.

Given how many goals Ramos scores you'd think he'd get a bit more attention in the box.

Any sort of optimism that I had after finding out there was no replay is gone, imagine Fellaini up front. The one weakness I've seen in Chelsea this season has been the goals they've conceded from crosses whether we can take advantage is another matter.

Result and performance wasn't bad all things considered but I'm still a bit annoyed. After getting into a good position and being quite comfortable it was a bad, bad goal to give away. I've defended Jones over the years because of the potential he showed early on but he just continues to make mistakes and is remarkably poor in the air. Probably time to cut bait here. Overall though I'd give Jose and the players credit for how they dealt with a completely disgraceful pitch. The tactics were spot on and the players gutted it out in the main. Thought Pogba looked clueless and Martial was lost when he came on but bar those two (and Jones' costly error) all did well.

Jose says he is going with a strong team on Monday v Chelsea.

I'd have taken the 1-1 before the game but it was such a poor goal to concede.

Not expecting much on Monday, everything points to a Chelsea win. The last thing we need is a draw given the fixture congestion we're experiencing.

There's no replay MM, must be finished on the day. Pick a decent team and give it a rattle..

Hadn't a clue that came in, there's even a 4th sub allowed if game goes to extra time.

Kerry are far too short in the odds, if as expected they play Cork in the Munster Final they have to go to Cork. Think their record in Cork at this level isn't great and there was hardly much between these sides at minor level the last few years.

Whoever prevails from the provinces I'm expecting 2 tight semi finals.
