Has anyone bought (or just used) those air compression leg suits for recovery? Recommend? Any better than regular stuff?

The prices seem to have comedown from pro level into the keen (deluded) athlete purchase price range.

Don't really find them that beneficial to be honest. Some people like them ok.

Any good deals on a garmin heart rate straps??

Milltown Row2

Bound to be deals this Friday and next on Amazon
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

I burned through a few HRMs over the years, have had Garmins, Wahoo ticker and Polar, Polar is the best I've had. Wahoo ticker the worst.

Currently using a garmin watch so thought the garmin strap would be best. Half tempted for a new watch if I saw a good deal in the sales.

If you're into recovery- get a light jog, lake/sea dip, plenty of rest/sleep and lots of high protein food into you. The latter 2 being most important.

We don't want that sort of sensible talk in here! Just discussion on expensive gadgets to waste money on. Best turbo trainers? Some big money ones out there.

And...best reasonable (I realise that's subjective) turbo trainer, for a runner who has a bike and would like to do a day a week on it over the winter.

Does anyone wear a Whoop? I am sure there will be some decent Black Friday deals but I have heard mixed reviews.

I'd be a runner and got a really good one for about 400 quid during lockdown. I am trying to find details and will post if I can.

There are a few places doing Tacx Flux S for £399, think normally over the 550 mark. Sigma sports is one, tredz as well i think

Let no-one say the best hurlers belong to the past. They are with us now, and better yet to come
