Quote from: Spike on November 10, 2024, 04:33:24 PMVery rusty performance from Cargin? EC far sharper.  Perhaps the gap between final and today too large?    Ec wel worth their victory though canavans and harte git a lot of protection from the man in the middle.  Set the scene in 1st 5 minutes.  Cargin dont seem to be able to adapt to the style of the ref in ulster.  Few fellas looked off the pace as well with unforced handling errors.

Ballymena were terribly unlucky yesterday. Better side and horrible way to lose

You mean the refs in Ulster actually play by the rules?

Quote from: Milltown Row2 on November 10, 2024, 03:32:19 PMWhat were the tactics today? How did Cargin approach it? Defensively?

Strange enough tactics from RD. 6 down with 4 minutes to go and still playing with 3 sweepers. I wouldn't say the referee was kind to Canavan's either. Holding off the ball is a free in my book?

On some of the above:
Jerome so bad! not a clue. You'd think he would know the Antrim Club players at this stage?
Damien so Bias it's unbelievable
Officiating with in the county is at an all time low. So many out of their depth. Not sure what the answer is.
Sports Tracker App boy not much better than Jerome.

Fair Play Cargin

Quote from: country bumpkin on October 08, 2024, 10:00:42 AMWonder would Casements have proved equally impressive in their semi final success, if they had met up with their original opponents before the shuffle, which was Brigid's, at that stage.....??

Would have been Cargin V PG1 and LD V NB no?

Thats not the case. If Creggan win and Aghnagallon win it leaves 3 teams on 4points wer score difference then comes in to play? Odd that both games wouldnt be played at same time on same day. All final group games should be the same.

Quote from: Christmas Lights on August 18, 2024, 12:43:39 AMIs That St Galls out?

Not necessarily. If NB wer to beat Aghnagallon and St Galls beat Creggan that would mean 3 teams on 2 points and score difference coming in to play. Same if Aghnagalloj beat NB and acreggan beat St Galls. 3 teams on 4 points and score difference comes in to play. Head to heads don't count I don't think. So basically, nothing sorted in group 4 yet. It will come down to last day

No one notice how the Down players celebrated after the final whistle on Sunday? Why should it mean nothing to us but mean a lot to Down who have had lots of success at underage and Senior level historically? The negativity from certain sectors towards the county team and management is pretty pathetic

I thought it depended on the severity or length of suspension?
