OK, let's go Believeland Indians.  Watching TV, all I hear about is the Cubs, apart from Tom Hanks who has been talking up Cleveland  wherever he appears.  Cavs receive their championship rings this evening.  Maybe after that's over, LeBron can go next door and pitch a no-hitter.  Go Tribe!

I groaned hard at that one.

1945 and all that. Some eejits will pay it too.

Kluber pitched brilliantly last night, but he'll probably be expected to pitch three times if it goes to seven games.  Interested to see how Bauer's finger holds up tonight after it was drip, drip, dripping blood last time out.

Cubs handle the Indians easily, 5-1.  Arrieta pitched a no-hitter through five innings.  Home field advantage to the Cubs now.

Heading to Chicago weekend after next. Going to Ireland/All Blacks Sat, Blackhawks Sun and Bulls Mon. Northwestern/Wisconsin also said on Sat but don't think we can get from it to the rugby in time. Also high school football playoffs are on Friday and Saturday evenings so might get to one of those. Group of 8 college buddies going along. Long time planned, tickets sorted for all events.

There will be some buzz in Chicago if the Cubs have won the World Series!

Election results Tuesday night! Home following morning.

Coco Crisp the hero!

We need names like that in GAA.

Indians beat the Cubs 7-2 to take a 3-1 lead in the series.  Our pitching has been unreal.  Cubs favorite breakfast cereal--Coco Crisp.

Cubs keep in alive, won 3-2 last night.

The Series stands at 3-2 Indians, returning to Cleveland on Tuesday.
