Xbox help needed badly. Pleaseeeee

I had a similar problem for a while and then it became pretty constant (daily), as my console was out of warranty I went out and bought an arcade version and transferred the HDD over to it.  I gave the old one to my nephew.  Since then he has had no problems at all with the old console and I've had minimal problems with the new one.  Id be interested to know if it happens again with your machine what would happen if you removed the hdd.

On a related note if your worried about it contact MS now its still in warranty, you dont want it to expire and the problem to become more frequent in February
