The poor devils - first they don't put Union jacks on their driving licences and now this.
Next thing they'll put "Northern Ireland" as not being part of Great Britain on their passports.

Holly, aged 8, from Kent, sure gets around!

Maybe now a twenty-something she has got a job as a graphic designer allowing her to spread her sectarian art to a wider audience.

I think the Shinners need to come out and object to rhubarb and custard cake being described as British.

Normally I would add a cake pun here but I am struggling.  Ironically it should be a piece of cake.........

The British Isles would infer all of Ireland was included, not just Norn Iron.

Who says it's the British Isles anyway? Surely it's the British & Irish Isles?

Paul Berry has complained about the mislabelling of the spotted dick.

Perhaps they didn't put the shamrock on for fear of offending the same people who are now giving out about it?
Would the shamrock not be considered "Irish" rather than "Northern Irish" or are unionists happy enough with it as a symbol?
I think M&S couldn't win this one regardless of what they put on the box.

That is hilarious, sad and yet probably hitting the nail on the head all at once.  :D

It used to be 'the British Isles' when the Brits 'owned' us way back when. They don't anymore (kind of) and so Ireland aint part of the British Isles no mo!

The British Isles would be a geographic term rather than political. It just refers to the group of islands of the NE coast of Europe including Ireland, Isle of Man, Great Britain etc.
