Things got out of hand at end of game yesterday for Stewartstown with men getting sent off but the thing that lost Stewartstown that game yesterday was the full back getting sent off for an embarrassingly stupid red card, people will call it a soft red but per the rule book striking's striking no matter how hard or soft the contact was, if he'd have stayed on then I believe stewartstown would have won that game

Watching the hurling here and was wondering is there many Tyrone hurlers play Gaelic for any clubs?

Seeing online it's £20 into game tonight

Surely a bit steep for a McKenna cup first round game?

What a final that was, some excellent football played, I would say 99% of the county were supporting Dungannon just for the run they've had to the final and the fairy tale ending to it. The number 7 for Dungannon, McKerny I think he is?, was the best player on the pitch, most Dungannon attacks started with him and he dictated the game for them throughout.

Just want to add that the ref was absolutely brutal throughout and made some questionable calls, he blew Morgan up along the end line for too long which was never too long, Morgan had fisted the ball over the bar which if it had counted may have won Dungannon the game, not that it matters now or that they will care

Underage football should return. Children present the smallest risk.

Please present yourself to a trained medical practitioner.

What are the Moy playing at going into G3 at minor level. They were one of the stronger teams in G2 at U16 2 years ago....think they got to a final so can’t understand why they are G3.
A club on a downward spiral

Theres a few clubs on a downward spiral these days. Its a bitter sweet

No sign of Urney at U14, U16 or Minors, I believe they were either playing with Newtown or else planning to but that has changed now since the formation of Naomh Eoghain. Are they playing with some other club? Possibly the Derg, dont see them there either but? Can't see it being Strabane

Quote from: Fionntamhnach on January 22, 2020, 06:49:44 PMIf I can be arsed, I'll try and compile the number of DNF's from a longer time period later...

OK, I'm arsed.

The following is by the number of times in the last three seasons a club has forefitted/CONC/DNF/WO a Reserve league fixture, figures in brackets refer to games conceeded in 2019, 2018 then 2017). Nominally this should be 45 games in total per team (Dregish fielded no reserve team in this time period) but some fixtures may have ended up not being played and were simply scratched.

22 Urney (13/5/4)

21 Derrytresk (5/11/5)

19 Moy (10/7/2)

15 Castlederg (4/5/6), Stewartstown (13/2/0)

14 Aghaloo (3/6/5)

13 Brocagh (2/4/7)

12 Brackaville (3/5/4)

11 Glenelly (3/6/2), Strabane (7/3/1)

10 Augher (2/2/6), Beragh (4/0/6), Derrylaughan (8/2/0), Edendork (8/0/2)

9 Killeeshil (3/2/4), Killyclogher (1/4/4), Moortown (4/0/5)

8 Cookstown (0/1/8)

7 Drumquin (6/1/0), Trillick (4/3/0)

6 Fintona (2/0/4), Killyman (2/0/4), Newtownstewart (0/3/3)

5 Ardboe (2/3/0) Errigal Ciaran (Junior) (5/0/0), Gortin (0/0/5)

4 Clann na nGael (3/1/0), Eskra (0/3/1), Pomeroy (0/3/1)

3 Dungannon (2/1/0), Galbally (0/0/3), Loughmacrory (0/3/0), Rock (0/1/2)

2 Coalisland (1/1/0)

1 Carrickmore (0/1/0), Clonoe (0/1/0), Donaghmore (1/0/0), Dromore (0/1/0), Errigal Ciaran (Senior) (1/0/0), Greencastle (1/0/0), Kildress (0/1/0), Omagh (1/0/0)

A few clubs clearly had a bit of a struggle in one season but had few problems otherwise, but a few others also seem to have consistent issues.

And yes, I'll begrudgly give credit to T***yreagh whom have not conceeded a tie in the reserve leagues in the last three years, especially as they were on a hiding to nothing last year. Normal service now resumes...

Owen Roes not on this list, good achievement for a club that would be considered by some a smaller club/parish

Tyrone Gaa need to take a step back and look at the referees they have. Yesterday at our club game we weren't great but the ref was absolutely awful and couldn't have been move biased if he tried, its starting to become beyond a joke the performance of some of the referees in the county >:(

I think everyone knows this but there's just so few Referees that they've no choice. Bad situation to be in.

It don't even mind if a referee is bad as long as he is bad for both teams, its the blatant biases of referee's these days and they don't even try to hide it either
