How do you see your membership number via An Forieann after you register?

7 digit number at top of page is your membership no.
Yeah, but some people have them and some don't. For example my friend does, but others don't. Anyone else have this problem?
Should one automatically appear after registration?
Your club admin needs to verify you as a member. Once that is done your membership number will be available.

I agree after verification a number should appear, but members have been verified and no number is there

There is a lot of duplication on Foireann when the old system was imported, fair chance you are on twice but the one you are looking under isn't the one the club registrar verified

Get your club admin to log into Foireann and do a merge, it should merge duplicates

Yeah, you sometimes have to go in and edit one of the duplicates before Foireann sees it as a duplicate and allows you to merge them.
When you're looking at 300 odd duplicates, it's a pain in the hole.

Yeah that's what says on the instructions. But it doesn't happen in practice

I dont think it always does. A few things can confuse things. Duplicate entries, being a member of different clubs like a football club, hurling club, handball club. I see this all the time and then you need to merge the contacts into one contact. I always make the one with the reg number the primary one when doing it.
Im having problems, after verifying, no numbers appear even though they are not duplicates. Don't know what the problem is.
