With Liam Cahill staying at Waterford I see Tipp have moved for Colm Bonnar..

I wonder if that a "holding" appointment till Cahill sees out his time with Waterford.

Davy for Galway seems like madness for Galway and no word on Wexford as yet.

Cody, is he going to stay or call it a day?

Davy Fitz is the José Mourinho of hurling

Darragh Egan is taking on that job, they announced that last week.

Not sure on tipp's appointment at all. I actually think Davy could, though short term, put a bit of life into a team that needs it and should be doing so much better.

Not sure Galway would have the money for him

You're right, forgot about that. Those Tipp lads get about.

Waterford, Antrim and now Wexford and probably a few others coaching in the lower tiers.

Where's Dinny Cahill these days? I was down Galway many years ago watching a Intermediate final (we were playing winners) he was looking after/coaching there, he's a cracking coach
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

Kilkenny confirm that Brian Cody will remain as senior hurling manager in 2022, his 24th season in charge

Surely it was time for Cody to step down?

burdizzo

Why? Surely Kilkenny have over-achieved this past few years? Two Leinster titles in a row, and an all-Ireland appearance in 2019?

Tyrone made the All Ireland final in 2018 but was the right decision to bring in a new management this year. Kilkenny are a good bit off Limerick so what's the motives?

Kilkenny were helped by Dublin missing 4 or 5 through in this year's Leinster final

Cody has earned the right to go on his own time of choosing but I don't believe he hasn't adapted well to the new way hurling is being played and the win your own ball mantra for the forwards isn't working for Kilkenny for two reasons.

They don't have the same standard of players at their disposal to be able to do that and the top teams just won't allow one on ones to develop in those areas.

Shefflin the new Galway manager apparently..
