You have to love the idea that Mancs might think Liverpool fans wish Shankly and Paisley were given the same gong they gave to Norman Bettison.

and Jimmy Saville.

QuoteFootball is a simple game based on the giving and taking of passes, of controlling the ball and of making yourself available to receive a pass. It is terribly simple.

Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity

It got you to post twice about it on here, which is the point I guess...

So in order to get the reaction of Liverpool fans, let's tug the forelock and bend the knee? I don't think they've thought that one through.

I think they did, that's 3 times now...

It mightn't matter much to me or you but it does to some

European Cups?

You're up to the magic number of 5 times (insert trademark here) now!!

You ignoring the part about Pool fans not caring??

deiseach

You'll always find some people who care, they're entitled to their opinion. The reality is that being a knight of the realm does not confer one iota of extra respectability on a person.

That's a wee bit different to your original view...

For what its worth I agree with you and said so on the forum where it was created as did plenty of others.

deiseach

Oh right. So I can't attribute an attitude to "Liverpool fans" unless EVERY Liverpool fan holds that opinion? Fine. I'll clarify my original comment to say that I think the vast majority of Liverpool fans will be highly amused to see that some Man Utd fans look at the knighthood count as something to brag about.

Captain Obvious

Liverpool at home and in better run of form than Manchester United should win this Sunday. 2-1 I think a Sterling double to make up for all the chances he missed in Old Trafford.

Tony Baloney

You can pretty much ignore recent form for a Liverpool v United match.

Nah. After their mighty win against the force that is Spurs,United have to be clear favourites.
3 or 4-0 to United I reckon.
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.
