Laying down at work today because my bad back was playing up and then getting my leg trapped against the table a wall in the vacant office. Then the University girl on a year's placement having to free me from it.

That kinda grind my gears today.

People saying "laying" when they mean "lying." You lie in the present tense, you lay in the past.

I seems to be almost universal in US speech to use the transitive 'lay' (to lay something down) for the intransitive 'lie'.
Present tense, 'lay', past tense 'laid'.
I am laying down. I laid down yesterday.

Lay down the law, Hardy.

That bollix' hasn't got laid since 1999.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

People talking about Dublin trump.

I swear to god it must make up >40% of all current affairs radio chatter. There seems to be no place in the western world where you can be forced to observe updates on his latest musings. I'd actually move to North Korea or somewhere equally remote and subjugated (like Cavan) to just enjoy one week without hearing the f**kers name.

I've no problem with reports linking him to possibly ending the world with a nuclear war as i can see it's relevance  ;)

There does however seem to be an over facination with all things he says and does from people over here.

I like painting. It's the preparation and cleaning up I hate. :)

I feel the same about sex.

People that dont drive around a mini roundabout.
Driving out over the top of it or just cutting across before it completely  >:(

no, it's the same as a solid white line. You're not to cross it.
For some vehicles this isn't possible and so not enforced but the rule still applies.

Unfortunately not punt.  From the highway code...

188
Mini-roundabouts. Approach these in the same way as normal roundabouts. All vehicles MUST pass round the central markings except large vehicles which are physically incapable of doing so. Remember, there is less space to manoeuvre and less time to signal. Avoid making U-turns at mini-roundabouts. Beware of others doing this.

It's designed so that it can be driven over, as it is a mini roundabout and some vehicles have to do it, else it would be a big yoke with trees in the middle.  Any bit you not following?

I'd say he's just about right.  The bit below was the clincher;

All vehicles MUST pass round the central markings

People talking about "ladies GAA." Until they merge into the GAA then there's no such thing, it's the LGFA and the CA.

And what grinds my gears more is people giving out about the GAA "discriminating" against women's games when the LGFA or CA make a pig's ear of something.
