Labor Day is the start of all things football...Sports Illustrated have the college football preview this week, so that's my weekend reading sorted.  USC on the cover, by the way, so they are automatically favourites/doomed.

Big Hype for Sam Darnold. We'll see. Hard to see USC as favourites for everything. Alabama, Ohio State and Florida State at least must be more likely.

Laying down at work today because my bad back was playing up and then getting my leg trapped against the table a wall in the vacant office. Then the University girl on a year's placement having to free me from it.

That kinda grind my gears today.

People saying "laying" when they mean "lying." You lie in the present tense, you lay in the past.

I seems to be almost universal in US speech to use the transitive 'lay' (to lay something down) for the intransitive 'lie'.
Present tense, 'lay', past tense 'laid'.
I am laying down. I laid down yesterday.

Was just givin off about painting there, I can do a fair amount of things round a house with pleasure but painting drives me up the wall (if youll pardon the pun)
