1-0 Away win for Real Madrid tonight v Espanyol played the whole game with 10 men (Casillas sent off  in the second minute)

Have we got a title race?

                        PL     GD    PTS
1    Barcelona    23    59    62
2    Real Madrid 23   33    57

Maybe if Madrid beat Barca in April.

This Saturday marks another special anniversary for Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho. It is nine years since one of the four teams he has managed since 2002 - Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan and Real - lost a league match at home.

He's been out of sorts this past few weeks, but Messi was brilliant for that last half hour. Hopefully he's back to his best because the next few fixtures are going to be tough ones and they come thick and fast.

Speaking to AS, the former Chelsea and Inter boss held nothing back as he spoke his mind after the game. ''We played against one goalkeeper and 10 defenders for the second half. Only one team played to win. The other played to exhaustion and defended and they won the prize. We, who tried to win, are penalised for this.'' he vehemently added.
