3-1 Ronny again, 12 goals for him in October

Passed their first test of the season! Mourinho will rightly take all the plaudits as his change in the 80th minute or so changed the game. Next game should be a good 'un.

Anyone see Villa's goal? Unreal, and the perfect way to reply to Mourinho's wee dig.

Messi did the hard work beating two defenders though nice finish from Villa, what did Mourinho say?

Have to say some of the defending seen in La Liga is just as bad as the premier league

The press said something about Benzema and his goal drought, Mourinho (in his typical manner of taking pressure away from his players) made a reference to another very expensive player who wasn't scoring a lot of goals, ie. Villa. Some run from Messi there, would have my doubts about this keeper, though!

Quiet enough start to the season for Villa so last night was great to see. Hopefully he breaks out after that. Although apparently he's hit the post something ridiculous like 9 times in the last two months!

Sounds close enough, he's also been caught offside more times than anyone in the league, including Higuain! 2 great goals last night though, ominous for the rest of the league and he couldn't have timed it better with the Classico in a few weeks.
