I can't believe a Laoisman liking a biffo jersey and putting up a picture of Seamus Darby is just not right. Down with that kind of thing. Some of us are still suffering nightmares about that day in 1982.

The only other Jersey I like in the Gah besides our own Green and Gold geansai is the Tipp jersey.

As for Cork or Tyrone too much red and white, its a bit english dont' you think.

As i've said before i have no problem with Offaly im from the south side of Laois right on the Kilkenny border
Kilkenny >:(

Didn't know..Poor auld Biffo's living in the shadow of Laois ;)
Joking aside i have nothing against Offaly,I really don't like seeing Kilkenny win though, suppose it depends what part of county your from

Ye'll struggle to find a bookie that will lay each way on the provinces lads. If you find one, let me know ....

Paddy Power is doing e/w on ulster and leinster.

Not much use for an accum though. Still, I might have a look @ 7/2 Leix. With every other decent team on the other half of the draw, it's basically odds against to beat probably Westmeath and Wexford. I'd be inclined to take that myself, but it's a close call. Plus I hate backing Laois.

Why hate Laois so much?

Lets not jump the gun just yet, with Moores & Parry steering the ship they will be wanting the best possible deal on offer for the club

Yer right there Ted(always wanted to post that!) .Moores and Parry are Liverpool through and through and will do the best for the club not themselves

Agreed about Beano,It also looks sometimes that he afraid to shoot and passes instead and most of the time the chance is lost.
Whats story with Garvan anyways?

GAA Discussion / Laois v Westmeath
January 30, 2007, 01:14:58 PM
Right now that the O'Byrne cup is out of the way the serious action starts,What would be a good league campaign
I'd be happy with making Division 1 satus next year and maybe getting to semi finals of this years
Paul Lawlor lokks like he's coming good and going to make the grade.Wolly was awful against Dublin don't think he should start against Westmeath
Will Munnelly and co be back for Westmeath game does anyone know?

I have seen it loads of times on kids, say if one parent is from laois and the other from kilkenny can look good if done right but have seen some awful ones like a half Wexford half Kilkenny Purple yellow black and amber some mix of colours
God i hope no one decides to use a Carlow/Laois one now that would be a sight Blue/white/red/green/yellow!!!
