Armamike

For Armagh to stay in div 1 and get to an Ulster Final/AI quarter final. If we do that it will be progress.
That's just, like your opinion man.

For Armagh, stay in Division 1 and make it to Croke Park in the Championship.  Croker suits Armagh's style of play well and once there, nothing to lose.

Expectation (same as every year): Win it all.

Nothing else matters.

The only correct prediction.

Hope - Promotion to Div 1 and beat Tyrone

Expectation - I think we'll get promoted but beating Tyrone might be a bridge too far... as a great man once said "I would LOVE IT IF WE BEAT THEM!!!"

It was even better than I thought it would be!!!

Missed out on promotion though.  I look forward to renewing the rivalry in 2023

Armagh have had good games for years, but their consistency has been a problem.
Still there as seen with the two championship games against Donegal.

I think it's fair to say that Derry exceeded everyone's hopes this year.
Expectation for me would have been to cement the div 2 status and give tyrone a game of it in first round.
We came within a poor refereeing decision of making Div 1 and won ulster for the first time in over 2 decades, then making it as far as AISF.

A great year of progress for Derry exceeding all expectations.

Armagh.

Hopes - To win Ulster and do well in Division 1.

Expectations - I expect to remain in division 1 and see how the year goes from there.  We dont have the defence to be truly competitive unless we see some huge progression in the league.

Got half of my hopes anyway.  There was some huge progression in the league and i think our squad actually found belief in themselves at the top table. My only real expectation was to remain in Div1.

I'd expect Ulster next year.

Think our defence improved a helluva lot, Greg McCabe settled at 6 could be key next year

Hope: Unearth a tight-marking back or two, win Ulster, make an AI semi for once

Expectation: Still loose at the back, losing Ulster finalists and AI quarter finalists at best (I'm a pessimist realist!)

League: hope/expect to survive in Div 1 again

Close enough call.. unfortunately!
