3 episodes into Messiah on Netflix, really interesting, lot of potential.
Gorged on this, very very good, compelling viewing. The religious element might put some people off but I loved it, good balance to the story, it's only getting going too.
Sorry to quote myself, but I cant believe this show has gone so unnoticed. I thought it was excellent.

Great show, waiting on next set

Smokin Joe

Has anyone seen Occupied on Netflix?

I've had it recommended to me. A Norwegian political thriller?

I didn't watch it on Netflix, but on BBC 4,
I suppose it would be a similar experience.

Start with Ep 1 and see how you get on, you've already had it recommended to you

he was definitely eccentric, a bit of a David Brent type figure. The way he spoke to some of the staff seemed over the top but if truth be told some of them needed a rocket up the arse. Seemed to be getting it easy for too long.

I've seen it.  It's ok - a bit slow and laboured from time to time, but it's an interesting story.  Written by Jo Nesbo who wrote the Harry Hole novels.

Read most of his books, generally very good, haven't seen this though

Jo Nesbo did not write this story.
He had an idea of sorts, probably after the 5th expressso with a group of his friends. Other people ran with it but obviously his name carries currency,  so his name is there in the list of credits, the first name, a bait.

Patterson has done a lot of that stuff also, not the same

A different genre but I have really enjoyed watching" Lemony Snicket's a series of unfortunate events" on Netflix with my son the last few days , Neil Patrick Harris is brilliant as Count Olaf in it

We enjoyed that as well as a family, I haven't seen much else like it, kid/young teen friendly but also smart.
We finished up the the 3 rd series last night and can honestly say its been the most enjoyable TV series we have watched as a family, i have the books ordered now as our son is mad to get reading them ( will probably read them myself as well )
