General discussion / 20 years of the PSNI
November 02, 2021, 09:15:07 AM
Whats people's views on the PSNI now? Brolly gave them a good report in this week's Sunday independent?
I still do not know a cop personally and none live within my community. Do you ever think there will be a time in our lifetime that they will be living among our GAA communities?

GAA Discussion / Striking (Punching)
October 25, 2021, 10:15:59 AM
After seeing the disgraceful scenes in the Derry SFC a few weeks back and in the Down SFC yesterday, I feel it is time for the GAA to increase sanctions for punching. There is going to be someone badly injured someday. The GAA is supportive of the one-punch can ill campaign but in reality, is a one match ban enough for this sort of behaviour. It's time to crack down on this crap before someone dies.

GAA Discussion / Change underage back to u14,16,18
October 04, 2021, 02:49:32 PM
What is everyone's take on this? I personally think that we should change back to the old way. The gap from u17 to senior is massive and let's be honest about it, u19 competitions are a joke. In Down, it was run off like a go games blitz and only a handful of teams entered as your best u19s are involved in seniors. It was ok the way it was!

General discussion / Drug dealing -name and shame
August 23, 2021, 11:21:43 AM
Recently I have seen lists by texts in Castlewellan, South Armagh and yesterday Newry on the drug dealers in the area. Personally, i think it's great to see these names outed. Will anything be done about it

General discussion / Boredom
March 18, 2020, 11:27:15 AM
I still in work at minute thankfully but my evenings are hateful now. My whole free time revolved around sport and especially gaa. I do not have a great attention span for netflix etc but i have them so would be open to good shows. I am single at the minute so tinder is out the window due to social distancing. After a few days I find myself totally bored and need tips to keep  the head right. I have planned on a run as soon as I home tonight. I think a lot of people will be in the same boat for the foreseeable future.

GAA Discussion / LGFA/ Camogie
March 11, 2020, 10:41:54 AM
Personally I am sick of both these power hungry organisations who have no intention of integration. At club level, everything is done on a one club model but at county level they can't liaise with one another. Personally i think its time the GAA start refusing them access to pitches and Croke park. The power had went to their heads!

GAA Discussion / PSNI recriutment
February 04, 2020, 09:49:29 AM
19 years ago the GAA abolished rule 21 with Down GAA at the forefront of this. The PSNI are not having a recruitment drive and what i want to ask posters from the six counties, how would you club react to a senior footballer joining the PSNI? Young cops are still forced to move away which is a shame
