What if Tyrone had won the 1995 All Ireland?

The full time score was Dublin 1-10 Tyrone 0-12.

It took 8 more years for Tyrone to regroup to win their first All Ireland.

Would they have the hunger to win the 3 AI's in the 2000's if they already had won their first in 1995?

Hard to say.

One thing is for sure though. Brexit wouldn't have happened.

ONeill

The Glenavon would have been more civil. Loada Derry ones caused ructions for a year winding us up about letting Ulster down.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Sounds like  an Irish version of Back to the Future.

Marty McFly (or the Tyrone equivalent) goes back in  time to  notify the ref that  Charlie Redmond is still on the  pitch. And  to make sure Peter Canavan  is wearing the proper studs , so he  doesn't slip

Captain Obvious

That Dublin team wouldn't be known as weakest All Ireland winning team of the last 30 years.

I probably wouldn't have been involved in a drunken soccer row among mates that evening nor puked in the back of me mates car later that nite.

Anyway, carry on

Weirdly would Armagh have won a few more in the noughties? That Tyrone team maybe wouldn't have had the same hunger.

We've only ourselves to blame.
The years Tyrone didn't play us (2004/2006) we still managed to find a way to lose. 2003 we didn't really perform in the final and 2005 we again found a way to lose through some crazy mistakes at key moments (despite playing as well as we had in any game during that era). Even in 2008 we could have given ourselves a crack at Tyrone in a semi final but got our pants pulled down by Wexford (Tyrone probably would have beaten us easily enough).

Absolutely. Loads of woulda/coulda/shoulda from that era.

Meath wans wouldn't have been jeering at us in Drogheda on the way home.

And then batin the dung outta us in 96 for gifting Dubs an AI.

Would have been so good had Art McCrory managed Tyrone to win first All Ireland.. the man who lit the fire... on the other hand maybe it was destined that Peter lift it. Swings & roundabouts 🏆
