Things gone bad, worse than 2007. Still think the craic in the Ukraine been used to hid the clusterfuck that is Brexit. Its barely mentioned on TV as a possible cause. Covid didn't help the situation either.

Derry / Re: Derry Club Football & Hurling

Had heard of this when it happened, the weekend he arrived, but as not mentioned elsewhere I was unsure  if it was true or any of the detail. Not sure how he got into America, as I thought he had a few issues in the past. Can't see him get away with out some jail time given the assault. Good footballer but anybody about Maghera knows the background issues.

I think Cavan be too strong for Westmeath, they need reduce Heslin influence though who I think a great player but a midfielder playing up front as they need his scoring power.

Derry got to grips with the Donegal forward line which I have way ahead of Galway. If Tyrone were turning up the mor instead of Derry, everybody be having only 1 winner.

6
Well how many do Galway bring, I say Derry be 20k

Rodgers at Midfield allows Glass to go forward as he can score, but taking Rodgers out of the defence left us open at the bck. Its sort of pluses and minuses with that move. Wouldn't been worried as bad, but there not many other fullbacks in the county who regularly play there Dougan, Mcgoldrick, etc, none of which are on the panel, means brining McKeigue to 3, McGrogan power wise maybe better suited to Comer but ain't use to playing full back. Walsh could be abit tricky for him.

8
Rodgers will play midfield, McKinless stay no.6, Chrissy pick up Comer, who match up on Walsh I don't know, likely would been McGrogan (as he picked up McManus in Monaghan game) but he got it tight in the Clare game.

Should been gone after the Covid parties, when everybody else was under strict lockdown. I wonder how successful lockdown was in hindsight,, injections aside, as I picked Covid up twice since it been lifted, and in the current climate looks like most people will  pick it up again bi-yearly.
